KID CONNECTION IS BACK, ALBEIT VIRTUAL THIS YEARApril 6, 2021 in djpost
Mifflin County Kid Connection, a pivotal part of spring in Lewistown, is back this year after a hiatus from the Covid-19 Pandemic, but with a new identity. Kid Connection will occur on Saturday April 24, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in a virtual platform. The virtual event will air on Facebook and Eventbrite platforms on April 24 and 25
th starting at 9 am for local children and families, free of charge, with videos such as: music, crafts, magic acts and science experiments; highlighting various interest for children ages 2 to 12 years old.
With less than a month, away organizers are seeking donations and supports from local businesses and organizations to provide items for goodie bags and videos to participate in the virtual event. Activities such as tattoos, stickers, coloring bags, kits to make crafts, and games; videos such as music, magic shows, science experiments and informational/fun clips are ideal for the children. Members of the committee are available to assist in discussing videos or activities for the kiddos.
