Also ahead, were going to talk about the latest strike to hit the nation. Casino workers now join autoworker, hospitality workers and actors all on the picket lines. We begin with President Biden home from his trip to israel after accomplishing a critical goal, getting humanitarian aid into gaza for the millions trapped there. President set to address the nation on the wars in israel and ukraine this evening. He was forceful in his support of israel why trying to prevent israel from taking action that could spark a wider regional war. George is going to speak live to the deputy correspondent in a moment. Our chief Foreign Correspondent ian pannell starts us off in israel. Good morning. Reporter good morning, robin. We are in a kibbutz one mile from the border with gaza. On the morning of october 7th, hamas militants came in here on a rampage. They burned, they destroyed, they killed and they kidnapped. As a reminder of how we got to where we are, lots of discussions on going about humanitarian aid getting into gaza as this war drags on. Overnight President Biden brokering a deal to deliver aid to millions of palestinians trapped in gaza. The president saying egypt will now open a crossing along gazas southern border allowing a limited number of trucks filled with humanitarian aid to reach the millions of people looking to escape the bombing. I wanted to make sure there was a vehicle, a mechanism, that this could happen quickly. This has been a very blunt negotiation i have had. If hamas doesnt let it get through, just confiscates it, then its gonna end. Reporter because the roads are damaged by israeli bombing, the aid may not arrive until tomorrow at the earliest. A source familiar with the effort telling abc news eight convoys and personnel from the u. S. Embassy in cairo are as close to the crossing as possible and are ready to send aid across. The promise of relief is too late for the rising casualties in gaza. More than 3,400 killed since a massacre in israel by hamas who murdered 1,400 and took more than 200, including americans, hostage. Israel vowing to eradicate hamas, retaliating with thousands of air strikes. Just hours ago, palestinians seen digging desperately to rescue children buried in the rubble of their bedroom, bombed as they slept. Anger and protests throughout the region after that catastrophic explosion into a gaza hospital which reportedly killed hundreds of civilians according to Palestinian Health authorities. Hamas claims the hospital was hit by an israeli air strike, but israel said it was hit by a waywar rocket fired by islamic militants. Video shows the moment of the blast. Amid growing questions about whats happened and whos to blame. What we saw here was a bright fireball, which is closer to what you would see out of a residual fuel out of say a rocket that hadnt finished its full time of flight. Reporter the israeli saying theyve reviewed intelligence and aerial footage that proves Islamic Jihad was responsible for the attack. The u. S. Is conducting its own investigation but backs israeli analysis that it wasnt one of their strikes. Based on the information we have seen today, it appears the result of an errant rocket fired from a terrorist group in gaza. Reporter but an nsc official telling abc news the u. S. Still hasnt determined if palestinian Islamic Jihad was at fault. Pro palestinian demonstrations erupting around the world. Some angry at americas support for israel, with massive crowds gathering outside of u. S. Embassies. In beirut, lebanon, one protester attaching a palestinian flag to the u. S. Embassy there. And on this street, amid the chaos, abcs mola lenghi. Reporter as you can see, protesters pushing back against Security Forces, started by throwing rocks, launching fireworks. Its been a constant push and pull between Security Forces and the protesters who are trying to push up against the american embassy. They say they are outraged at israels bombardment of palestinian citizens and the u. S. Support for it. Reporter the uk now advising its citizens in lebanon to leave now, while commercial options remain available, advising people not to travel to lebanon at all amid fear that the conflict will spread. Overnight the idf releasing this video, saying they attacked military targets along the lebanese border retaliating against attacks by the iranian backed hezbollah. Weve been speaking to the son of one of the residents here who was taken hostage. The 80yearold came out of his house to protect his wife and surrendered to the militants. His son says he hasnt heard from him since. He believes that number thats now written of hostages is actually significantly higher. George . Ian pannell, thanks. John, thank you for joining us this morning. Lets start with those humanitarian aid convoys. When will they get through . Thanks for having me, george. This was obviously a major priority of President Bidens visit to the region and diplomacy that he has done directly with several regional leaders on the phone in the last couple of days. As your reporter indicated, there is more prepatory work that needs to be done to make sure the road is passable. The road needs to be repaired and checked. But there are trucks lined up and ready to go. We expect those to move in the next day or so. Okay. The president had a difficult balancing act in israel, balancing strong support of israel with a message of restraint. Is it possible to destroy hamas without a large scale Ground Invasion . Look, george. I think the president was carrying three primary messages when he went to the region. One was, obviously, our continued show of solidarity and support for the israeli people in this time of National Trauma and crisis and response. Second, a message of resolve to anyone who might seek to take advantage of this moment, anyone hostile to israel. They should not make that mistake. Third, a message of commitment to the civilians caught up in this. Also for his messaging that this conflict must be conducted consistent with principles of International Law and International Humanitarian law. Thats what im asking. Is it possible to destroy hamas without israel going in . Were going to see this play out over the course of the coming days. This is an extremely challenging place to conduct military operations. Its densely populated, more than 2 Million People in a relatively small area. Hamas, as you well know, makes its mission to hide among civilian population. Not trying to minimize casualties amongst their own people, but in many ways assuring they are going to take place. One of the things we are going to be doing is consulting with israeli officials, with Israeli Military commanders and making sure they have a clear plan to do this in a way that minimizes the loss of civilian life. Whats the latest on the hostages . Is qatar making any progress in getting some of them out . Were obviously engaged in intensive diplomatic activity related to the hostages. But also have sent a number of experts to the region to consult with israeli who are involved in hostage extraction. I dont want to get ahead of any of those conversations. These are the most sensitive things that we are working on. And the president has said it is a top priority for us to get as many of those hostages out as soon as possible as we absolutely can. Were going to hear from the president tonight on the wars in israel and ukraine. Is one of his messages to prepare the United States for a possible war with iran . The president is not going to be focused on that message. What the president is going to be doing is laying out for the American People a description of this moment that we are in. A crisis in ukraine that has been going on now more than a year and a half. An emerging crisis with our close friend and ally in israel. And connect that National Movement to american lives back here and why this is a moment in which the Administration Needs to respond and we believe congress as well needs to act to make sure that we have the resources to be able to continue our leadership. John finer, thank you very much for your time this morning. Thank you. Michael . Thank you, george. Now to the latest on the battle for house speaker. Jim jordan failing to secure enough votes on his second try. Our senior Congressional Correspondent rachel scott is tracking this on capitol hill. Good morning, rachel. Reporter michael, good morning. Day 16, no speaker of the house. Congressman jim jordan is losing even more ground. Some republican holdouts say they are facing threats, a sign of just how hostile this fight has become. This morning congressman jim jordan facing growing opposition after republicans blocked his bid for speaker again. A speaker has not been elected. Reporter this time he lost even more support. 22 republicans opposed on the second ballot. He can only afford to lose four. To be clear, youre staying in this race . Yep. Reporter youre not considering dropping out . Nope. Reporter jordan ready to fight, but some republicans not budging. This is not a give me this or else. This is a united front that has collectively decided that hes not the best choice for speaker of the house. Reporter those holdouts facing increasing pressure. Congressman don bacon said hes been flooded with calls, his wife even getting hit with menacing messages. My wife has been getting anonymous texts and anonymous phone calls to try to compel her to force me to change my vote, which is wrong. Thats crossing boundaries. Reporter Congress WomanMary Miller Meeks revealed shes getting a barrage of threatening calls after withdrawing her support for jordan. With the house still paralyzed even some of jordans supporters say it may be time to start considering other options. The world is burning and i dont think many people we represent want us spending days upon days deciding who sits in the chair. Reporter one of those options, giving temporary speaker congressman Patrick Mchenry more power. So the house can get back to work. Mchenry not interested. I am putting in my vote for jim jordan. Reporter jordan not giving in. We proved we can get over 200 people to support us. We just got to get a few more. Reporter the house is set to reconvene in a few hours. Overnight jim jordan condemning threats against his colleagues insisting its imperative for republicans to come together, george. Rachel, thank you very much. Now to detroit where casino workers have joined autoworkers and others on the picket line. Its the latest in a wave of union strikes. Alex perez is tracking it all. Good morning, alex. Reporter good morning, george. No doubt this has been the year of strikes. Casino workers are the latest to hit the picket lines. Its the first time theyve gone on strike. Some 3,700 casino workers are on strike. The group is composed of five unions that includes dealers, custodians, engineers and more. Collectively the unions say they are calling for higher wages, Retirement Security and other benefits and argue that while casino revenue has reached record highs and surpassed prepandemic levels, compensation has not kept up. Casino workers now join autoworker, hospitality workers and actors who are also on strike. In fact, this year there have been 317 strikes across the country involving some 450,000 workers. For now those casinos remain open with limited staffing, but its unclear just how long this strike will last. Guys . Alex, thank you very much. Lot of frustration out there. This morning we are hearing a stunning confession to the 2005 murder of Natalee Holloway in aruba. This comes after he pleaded guilty to extorting money from holloways mother. Reporter for the first time we are hearing from van der sloot in his own chilling words, describing what happened the night natalee disappeared. The disturbing details unravelling years of mystery about why and how he killed the alabama teen. A warning this may be difficult to listen to. This morning a stunning admission nearly two decades after Natalee Holloway went missing. Jordan van der sloot, the main suspect in her 2005 disappearance, now heard in his own words, confessing he killed her. I was scared. I didnt know what to do. I decide to take her and put her into the ocean. Reporter the confession, part of a plea deal in a federal extortion case. Van der sloot describing what he said happened the night natalee vanished on a High School Graduation trip in aruba after she was last seen leaving a bar with him, saying he attacked her and she fought back, kicking him in the crotch. He said he then kicked her extremely hard in the face. She was laying down unconscious, possibly even dead, but definitely unconscious. Reporter he then said he bludgeoned her, dragging her body into the ocean. I walked up to my knees into the ocean and pushed her off into the sea. Yeah. After that i get out. I walk home. Reporter natalees mother beth telling abc news the confession confirms what she long believed. Jordan van der sloot is no longer the suspect in natalees disappearance. He is the killer. Reporter Beth Holloway saying he took a polygraph test after lying what happened for years. The real key, the polygraph test, is the art of the polygrapher. Maybe he told the polygrapher and probably an agent or detective that was in the room exactly what happened on that beach in 2005. Reporter the confession, part of van der sloots guilty plea for extortion and wire fraud, admitting he demanded 250,000 from beth in 2010 in exchange for information about her daughter. A judge sentencing him to 20 years behind bars to serve in conjunction with his 28year sentence for murdering another woman in peru. Van der sloot apologizing to the Holloway Family in court saying, i am not the same person today as i was then. I have given my heart to jesus christ. But natalees father dave releasing a statement saying van der sloot is evil personified. Beth holloway saying their familys nightmare is finally over. It is a very victorious day to reach this point in a long journey. I did what i had to do as a mother to find answers as to what happened to my daughter. Reporter natalees dad saying van der sloot saying that he tortured their family and ask that parents hug their children today in natalees memory. Lets bring in our chief legal analyst dan abrams. Even though we heard that confession, despite that, he cannot be charged with murder. Thats right. I will tell you, thats the first time that i have heard him in his own words. It is just chilling. For those of us who have followed this case for this long to finally hear jordan van der sloot, in his own word, admit to exactly what he did gave me chills as i listened to that. With regard to your legal question, this occurred in aruba. In the United States there is no statute of limitations for murder. The crime occurred in aruba, so it happens under aruban law. I have talked to very frustrated people who worked on this case who are frustrated at the fact that aruba has a 12 year statute of limitation. Thats why van der sloot doesnt have much to lose in coming forward and making a confession like this. Where will he serve the majority of the sentence . Likely in peru. He was extradited to the United States to deal with the judicial proceedings. Hell now have that 20 year sentence to serve concurrently with the 28 year. If he gets out early in peru, he would come back here to serve the remainder of the 20 years. Hes already served 11 up to this point. Its pretty obvious why he agreed to this deal. Yeah. In the end the ability to serve concurrently and know he cant be charged with murder for what he said, i think this ends up being a comparative legal win for him. Listening to that. Even hearing that word win. I know. I know. Im sure this was a calculation for him, as hes done many times in his life. Okay, dan abram, thank you very much. Netflix, the streaming giant hiked its prices after cracking down on pass word sharing. Rebecca jarvis is here with what it means for the world of streaming. Hey, george, yeah. And when many other streamers had hiked prices, netflix was the only holdout. But now they are following suit. That basic plan at netflix jumps 2 to 12. Premium goes to 23. They are keeping the ad supported tier at 7. Over the last year the cost of major ad Free Streaming Services overall have gone up by about 25 . Part of the objective is to push more cost Conscious Consumers to that cheaper ad supported plan. Thats ironic because that is exactly what tv used to be. George, here we are, back to the future. Looks like this crackdown on pass word sharing is paying off. What does it mean for other streamers . It is absolutely paying off for netflix. They added 9 million, almost 9 million subscribers between july and september because of the crackdown. Analysts believe other streamers as a result are definitely going to follow suit. Overall, you can imagine prices going up and more crackdown on all of those subscriber services. Rebecca jarvis, thank you very much. The party is over. All right, rebecca. Think about the stress that youre under when you think your loved one is calling you and telling you about being in an accident. Suddenly that stress causes you to make judgments you wouldnt ordinarily make. Reporter to protect yourself, woods says families should create a code word or code question only they know to help confirm the callers identity. Think about a memory that you both share. I can say, okay, son. What position did you play in football . Whats he gonna say . Even under stress, he knows he doesnt play football. Hell say, i dont play football. A fraudster might say quarterback. Reporter leading to the second tip, be skeptical. Doing this can slow things down long enough to make direct contact with your Family Member another way. And third, if the caller asks for payment in cryptocurrency or gift cards, thats a major red flag. A rational calm analysis of the situation would reveal that what they are being asked to do is unreasonable and unrealistic, but many times they do it anyway because of the stress of the situation. Reporter so heres what to do if you become a victim of one of these scams. Contact the ftc right away. Report the fraud on their website or call their response center. Then clearly explain what happened, like who the caller was pretending to be and whether you gave them money. Announcer live in times square, this is gma. Good morning america. Cant wait for that big surprise here in our studio. What home buyers need to consider when it comes to refinancing with Mortgage Rates hitting 8 for the First Time Since 2000. Lets look at the top stories breaking at 8 starting with President Biden home from his trip to israel after accomplishing a critical goal, getting humanitarian aid into gaza for the millions of civilians trapped there. Lets go back to our chief Foreign Correspondent ian pannell there in israel. Good morning again, ian. Reporter yeah. Good morning. Hard to convey the true horror of what took place october 7th. We reported on so many stories over the last 13 days about what began as a horrific attack in places like this spread into a wider potentially regional conflict. In the middle of this are the people who were here living peacefully who were slaughtered inside their own homes. Meanwhile discussions are on going to try to bring humanitarian aid to the people inside gaza. Overnight President Biden brokering a deal to deliver aid to millions of palestinians trapped in gaza. The president saying egypt will now open a crossing along gazas southern border, allowing a limited number of trucks filled with humanitarian aid to reach the millions of people looking to escape the bombing. I wanted to make sure there was a vehicle mechanism that this could happen quickly. If hamas doesnt let it get through and confiscates it, its going to end. Reporter but because the roads into gaza are damaged by israeli bombing, the aid may not arrive until tomorrow at the earliest. A source familiar with the efforts telling abc news eight convoys and personnel from the u. S. Embassy in cairo are as close to the crossing as possible and are ready to send aid across. But the promise of relief is too late for the rising casualties in gaza. More than 3,400 killed since the massacre in israel by ha marques who murdered more than 1,400 and took more than 200, including americans, hostage. Israel vowing to eradicate hamas, retaliating with thousands of air strikes. Just hours ago, palestinians digging to rescue children in the rubble of their bedroom, bombed as they slept. Anger and protest throughout the region after that catastrophic explosion in a gaza hospital. Hamas claims the hospital was hit by an israeli air strike, but israel says it was hit by a wayward rocket fired by islamic militants. Israel saying theyve reviewed intelligence that proves the group palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for the attack. The u. S. Is conducting its own investigation that backs israeli analysis that it wasnt one of their strikes. Based on the information weve seen today it appears to result of an errant rocket group by a terror group in gaza. Reporter pro palestinian demonstrations erupting around the world. Some angry as americas support for israel, with massive crowds gathering outside of u. S. Embassies. We keep talking about these fears that this conflict could spread. Were seeing increased clashes up in the north on the border with lebanon. President biden sending a very clear message though to any country or organization that if youre thinking of getting involved here, simply dont. George . A wider war the big fear. Thank you very much. A milestone for Mortgage Rates. A 30 year fixed rate loan is up to 8 for the first time in more than two decades. Rebecca jarvis on what home buyers should watch for. It is tough out there with the average 30year fixed Rate Mortgage now 8 . That is the highest since 2000. Take a look at this chart. This huge jump in just the last two years. In october of 2022, a 30year fixed Rate Mortgage was 3 . Put that in real terms. Two years ago a 400,000 home with a 20 down payment would have run you about 1,350 a month. At todays rates that same home is going to cost you 2,350. That is 1,000 more every single month. As a result, adjustable Rate Mortgages have become increasingly popular. They start with that low teaser rate. Right now its about 6. 5 , 7 . Then they reset. A 5 1 arm has a fixed rate for five years then resets every year after that. Whats important to keep in mind here is that there are no guarantees that the rate goes lower when it resets. If Interest Rates go up, you automatically pay more. Another thing to keep in mind, renting might make sense here. Use the calculators online. But also keep in mind those rental prices have not dropped that much because people are just getting priced out of the Housing Market overall. Michael . Rebecca, always a lot to think about. Thank you very much for that. Now to a gma health alert. A study finds a strong link between eating red meat and a persons chance of developing type ii diabetes. Our chief medical correspondent dr. Jennifer ashton joins us with more. Doc, break it down for us. Talking about lamb, beef, pork, sausage, hot dogs, burgers. This was a big study over 200,000 people followed for 30 years published in the american journal of clinical nutrition. Basically found a direct link and association. Didnt show cause and effect, but the more red meat consumed, the higher risk of developing type ii diabetes over that time. Wow. You have a masters degree in nutrition. Is there a way to prevent or offset this . That was the Silver Lining in this study, michael. They did find consuming as little as half a serving a day of legumes and nuts dramatically lowered that risk, 30 or more. Know your risk. If you have a Family History and had diabetes in pregnancy, you are at higher risk. Getting screened with a simple blood test. Everyone should do that regardless of their weight. Keeping your weight in a healthy range is key. Swapping out proteins. We all love our occasional burger. But fish, plant based protein healthier. And exercise. Every little bit counts, including walking. So getting those steps in. Thank you, doc. Always great to have you here. Thank you. Appreciate you saying we can occasionally have a burger. Occasionally. Days after a seemingly hopeful turn, her daughter sharing a scary set back in her moms battle with a rare form of pneumonia. Saw so much progress. Yesterday we had a pretty scary setback. Shes still in icu and were just working through some things as far as her setback goes. Reporter the 55yearold former champion gymnast has been in the intensive care unit for more than two weeks. Her other daughter revealing on social media that she was unable to breathe on her own, adding that the athlete does not have insurance. Although it was stated this is a rare form of pneumonia. Pneumonia is one of the common reasons patients get admitted to the hospital. If someone isnt able to breathe on their own or get enough oxygen and requires additional care, that increases their level of risk and the level of care they are needing in the hospital. Reporter the gymnastics legend, vaulting to fame in the 1984 summer olympics. Gold medal goes to Mary Lou Rhetton. Reporter where she became the First American to win an all around gold medal. Reporter who knows what they talked about. As millions of young couples nod their head and sigh with agreement. Eds loving son couldnt imagine that convo. Hes probably saying i have taken all of your cds out at the local library and i have started to burn them into my computer. Reporter but what if you meet the parents when you arent a stratospheric super star. Anything you need, just ask. Thats right. Thanks. Reporter one couple recalling their initial encounter. I was nervous. He wanted us to fly on his plane. I was like, i have never done this before. I took one look at her and spoke to her for about ten seconds. The more i spent time with her, the more i realize these guys really are a great match. Reporter one experts advice for handling the introduction . Prepare, and ask about your beloveds childhood. Just a big Family Reunion when homecoming comes around. Were all reunited once again. Le were able to do our line dances. Were able to bring back that true feeling. To be able to come home and feel like you are comfortable and be yourself, such a rewarding feeling. Thats why hbcu homecomings are always going to be special. With thousands of alumni making a return to campuses lets go homecoming gives current students like Michael Wright a glimpse into the success their future holds. Hbcu are rooted in the sense of culture and pride. That culture goes back to my life. Alumni, they do what they can to help the students. Its a celebration of tradition, leaving room to embrace whats to come. This idea that the old has the potential to be new. It will help us all. Here with us now is Michael Wright, a senior Political Science major at Howard University. Michael, welcome to the show. Thank you. Pleasure talking to you. I have a question, what makes howards homecoming so special . Oh. So Howard University, their homecoming is the homecoming of all homecomings. I went to texas southern. I dont know about that. We may have a fight about that. Howard homecoming thats the epitome of black culture. People take off work. People take time off school. They come to Howard University to see the step show, the fashion show, the tailgate, the football game. When you do all that, theres nothing like a howard homecoming. If you have never experienced one you should go. Its an experience. We know you will be handing out your resume this weekend. What are your dreams and hopes for the future . When it comes to my resume, you can look at my phone. I can air drop that resume. [ laughter ] you never know where a connection can come from a small interaction, a small handshake. Im going to go through my phone. I can air drop it to you. We all have i phones. When you take all of that an put it into this is a networking opportunity. Opportunity to get where you want to be. For me personally, i do aspire to law school. So that said, i never know how this homecoming weekend can shape my future experiences. Youre right about that. A trip to new york and being on gma. You never know. We heard from an incredible woman that you recently met at howard. Ebony austin. You two bonded. She has been a mentor to you. You said you want to help people with food insecurity, all those things. Right. Ebony has a special message for you so take a look. Hey, michael, its ebony. I want you to know i am extremely proud of you. Im inspired by all that youve done at Howard University. You know what, michael . I actually want to tell you how proud of you i am. Hold on for a second. Cue the band cue the band . How are you . Good. And you . Hey, michael you know how to make an entrance. Thats what we are about. We are experienced. I see. That was malcolm x marching band who helped you out with that. I know ebony, youve met a lot of students. Yes. What makes michael stand out so much . My gosh. Michael reminds me of not that many years ago when i was in the yard. Meeting him, his passion, his love for hbcus. For me, it just reminded me of me. Thats what i loved about him the most. Gma isnt the only one with surprises this morning. You have something we have something we want to share with you, michael. Bring it out. There you go. Check that out. Thank you. Yes. In this basket i see that. Go ahead, michael. Thats for you. I want to give you 15,000. [ applause ] this is from my nouveau grit line. Everyone knows nouveau is my heart. I put so much into this. All of the proceeds go to hbcu students. When you buy a bag of grits, the Community Helps kids with food. My goal is to empower our young people. Its our obligation. Thank you, ebony. [ applause ] michael, how you feeling right now . Im a little stunned. Just a little bit. I am extremely grateful. Extremely grateful. Im at a loss for words. I greatly appreciate you. I got to go get me some of those. Im all over it. Theyre stone ground. Im all over it. Yes. Ebony, its really special to see someone step up and really help. You were on the yard not long ago. You see a young man and youre stepping in to help him. We appreciate the example. We know michael will carry it forward. Hes going to do amazing things. Now that nouveau can support these students. We supported so many going to hbcus. I was them at one time. I struggled at a hbcu and i know greatness comes from hbcus. Do you know what . All three of us are proof of that. Thats right. Congratulations to michael. Thank you so much, ebony. And well be right back, everybody. Jardiance its a little pill with a big story to tell. I take oncedaily jardiance, at each days staaart. We a we are back with our Gma Book Club pick for october. The list. You can scan the qr code to buy the book. 2020 coanchor Deborah Roberts sat down with the author. Yomi wants us all to consider a complex question. Can you believe everything you learn on the internet . Its at the core of her first novel the list. In it, a feminist journalist discovers an anonymous list circling online of men who behaved abusively, including her fiance. Its about instant culture an how, i suppose, we havent reckoned with the unchecked power of the internet. Simultaneously the internet is a huge tool to give voice to the voiceless and speak truth to power. Reporter i caught up with her at Silver Lining lounge in manhattan to talk about her provocative book, which centers around the instagram famous couple ala and michael. Ala struggling with who and what to believe as the clock ticks down to their wedding day. You challenge us to look not just at the lives of the women who have accused, but at the men who have been accused. Right. And whether or not those people all should be lumped into the same category. Definitely. Ala, being a journalist, someone who has written articles that look at men that are accused of similar things to michael. Now she is attached to a man thats been accused of abuse. That puts her in a unique position. We see what the internet does, build people up. But also how quickly that can be ripped away and how much delight people can take in seeing someone elses life go wrong and fall apart online. I think its a book really for our time. You take a very hard look at social media, romance, assault, online gossip. Why do you think that is resonating so much with people who are reading this book . I think because there are lots of conversations about all the things you just mentioned. Many of them are very polarizing in black and white. The meeting and how that unfolds online. I think this book allows space for questions and discussions. With writing that jumps off the page, no surprise the list was at the center of a big hollywood bidding war and is now set to hit the small screen. Whats your role . Im executive producing it somehow. That will be something new. Very very new. Yeah. And theres the books jaw dropping twist, which will leave readers and soon to be viewers shell shocked. I knew i wanted it to be surprising. I want people to finally get to that very mind blowing last chapter. It was mind blowing. Thank you. Im glad it was. I hope that it will just, again, lead to questions about what we believe and why. Yep. Robin and i both agree, it was mind blowing. This has been a whirlwind time for the british writer who recently spent a few weeks here in the u. S. And is working on a second novel while casting this tv project. By the way, i pressed her about her wish list for starring roles, and like any good producer, shes pretty tight lipped, guys. No names there. The list is out now. Robin, you enjoyed it . I read it in like two days. That last chapter, you dont see it coming. See . I told ya. [ laughter ] it sounds amazing. I need to read this book. Okay. Lets go to ginger.
