But that does not take away from its destructive potential in terms of Flash Flooding. That will be the big headline from this over especially the interior parts of Southern California and the deserts in particular could be looking at 3 to 6 inches of rainfall in a 24 to 36hour period. A rare high risk of Flash Flooding from palm springs all the way up to death valley. See those tremendous rainfall amounts. Could also be Tropical Storm force winds from san diego up to los angeles. Farther up north, pacific northwest, the opposite problem. Were talking about Wildfire Danger and smoke, which will get thicker into seattle and portland as we head into tomorrow. Mary . Worrell was found guilty of spraying pepperspray gel on multiple police officers. Prosecutors asking the judge to sentence him to 14 years. Worrell had been under house arrest in florida since his release from jail in november of 2021. Hes one of more than 3 dozen proud boys that have been charged in the capitol riot. Hawaiian electric says the cause of the fire has not been determined and theyre working with the state and county to conduct a review as they work to restore service on maui.
