So thats of grave concern that ember hopping may start some new fires or the winds will provide fuel and make the fires that are up there right now specifically the dolan and glass fires expand at a rapid rate and break any containment lines that are set up right now. You can see its a very hot event today and tomorrow. Saturday 91 and then we get all the way down into the 70s by wednesday. The humidity levels jump up quite a bit. So heres a look at the winds. As we head through the morning hours, theyre pretty quiet even until lunchhour. Watch around the sunset as they ramp up around 25 to 30 Miles Per Hour. Theyre going to hit a little earlier in the evening than we thought yesterday and taper a little bit during the overnight hours. That is some good news. That means our best chance of seeing this Rapid Development would be right after sunset, which isnt great. At least youre not sleeping by then and woken up by mandatory evacuations.
