A mutual aid situation is in place throughout the fire areas. That means local authorities as well as those with surrounding agencies are on patrol. The glass fire is the fourth major fire burned in the area since 2017. You can see here in red, where the glass fire is burning in sonoma and napa counties. But as you look at the projected high temperatures in the area of the fire for the week ahead, you can see the temperatures climbing up near 100 degrees over the next three days. This would have been in one of the mandatory evacuation areas. There is a reason for that. We we understand the major winery was not damaged but some equipment and the outdoor area where they actually crush the grapes after they are gathered, we understand there was some damage there. This truck was destroyed. Melted, burned out, the Steering Wheel missing, and of course, the smell of burn plastic, burn metal on this truck. Still areas smoldering back here. This used to be the first building you saw when you were at the grounds of fair winds estate winery. Now it is just rubble. With all the debris you would expect to see after a fire races through here. Weve got ceramic roofing times, burned and chipped. Weve got planters out here destroyed.
