Thats so cool. I love that, lisa. Good to see people coming together and its a hard time so seeing some positive outcomes in all of this is nice. Definitely. You were talking about the weather and pg e, and we have a Drought Monitor to show to you see where we stack up this time of year, but we are looking at the winds shifting as the weather system pushing to the north of us tuesday and that will temporarily bring an offshore component to the wind and thats not what we like to hear this time of year and well talk about it and spell it out for new the next few minutes. Right now, live doppler 7 showing patchy fog around the bay. We had some mist and some drizzle, thats the system up there that will pass to the north of us and why its significant is because it is going to allow for a wind shift and when that happens, thats when the winds are going to get drier and the relative humidity will decrease as the temperatures climb. Right now it is 58 in pacifica. 62 in oakland. Good morning to you, hayward. 61. Weve got 60 around fremont and also in san jose. So this is not a local camera, but its windy there. Looks like its d. C. Coastal drizzle this morning, looking at sunny and warmer conditions today. The warming trend gets under way throughout the middle of the week, and as we look at where we stack up so far in terms of our rainfall season, you notice the contours and the colors up in northern california, thats thank means that were dry. Southern california around palm springs above average rainfall for this time of year but as we get in closer you can see were under the severe category here, that orange for most of the bay area, and in the south bay, did you pretty well this past season, better than the north bay, so the drought category just moderate for you. So overall, this translates into some pretty ripe conditions out there, if we get that offshore flow and a lot of hot weather, which is usually what happens as we get towards the end of summer. But right now, as we get towards the Morning Hours, you can see the clouds, they clear, low clouds and fog stack up along the peninsula here so it will be breezy along the coast, and then into tomorrow, that weather system pushing to the north of us, could see a few sprinkles, other wiles its just going to keep the temperatures from getting too warm today and tomorrow, and then we get this thank wind shift. By tuesday its a pleasant day, a few 80s inland, by wednesday numbers are climbing into the 90s as we look at our east bay valley, still cool around San Francisco but then by thursday, looking at about 80 in oakland, upper 90s as the warming continues and the winds will get lighter on thursday, so the windiest day the offshore wins looking to be tuesday night into wednesday. 74 today in oakland. Look for 68 in San Francisco. Warming up through the upper 70s in san jose, and how about mid 80s as we get towards san rafael today. The accuweather sevenday forecast the warming trend starting today, 60s and 70s from the coast to around the bay. Mid 80s inland, and then as we get towards your monday and tuesday, things stay the same temperature wise but the winds will shift and the warmer weather as we get into the middle of the week. So it looks pretty nice, typical for summer. Since weve been so dry this past season, always a good idea to watch the winds and see how hot its going to get which its not going to get too hot, liz but the winds going offshore temporarily midweek. It has been quite windy midweek and we have to watch out for that. Thanks, lisa. We know the economy is suffering but for bay area tech giants they see opportunity.
