The villejo city council is asking the state Attorney Generals Office to conduct an investigation into the Police Departments shooting and killing of sean monterosa. The council made the decision tuesday night and the ads office tells i. T. Reporter melanie woodrow, its not yet received a formal request from the city. A villejo Police Officer shot and killed monterosa just over a week ago outside of a looting scene at walgreens. The police chief says they fired after he dropped to a kneeling position and placed his hands above his waist. The officer saw what he believed to be the butt of a handgun, but it turned out to be a hammer. Happening today, one of the largest malls in the east bay forced to close by the pandemic will be welcoming back commerce. The sun valley in concord opposite at 11 00 this morning.
