New developments in the coronavirus outbreak. More than 64,000 people have gotten sick worldwide. The death toll is close to 1,400. Earlier today officials in japan said four more people tested positive for the virus. One of them is a taxi driver who had given rides to passengers who were on board the diamond princess cruise ship. More than 200 people on that ship are sick. A pacifica woman quarantined on board the diamond princess thats docked in yokohama tells us thatespite being a prisoner on the ship shes all right. Shes been on the ship for three weeks, confined to her room. Were allowed to have deck time an hour every day. They go by different floors, which theyll announce what time theyre allowed to go out. Police have now arrested the driver. Hes 62yearold stefan kernan. Hes charged with hit and run and running a red light. Three pedestrians were hurt in wednesday afternoons crash at 23rd and mission streets. Two of them are still in critical condition. Police say that dui is not a factor in the crash. Four people arrested in the west oakland moms for housing eviction in january will not face charges. This is according to the Alameda County district attorneys office.
