Just a week and a half ago neighbors met with councilman to express concerns. Some had to do with the warehouse here and people appropriately living in the warehouse. Reporter the property was red tagged in april of 2019 and then again on november 28th according to the Oakland Fire Department. That is when 20 People Living inside were removed from the building. Which is not suitable for living. Tenant Michael Prince said the owner john favors told people to come back after a couple of hours. He was charging 10 a night for people to sleep on that couch right there and that couch right there. And the owner has been, to put it nicely, less than cooperative in keeping people out of the building. So that makes it harder for the city to enforce the rules. A vigil is planned in dublin on sunday for three High School Students killed in a terrible car crash on Christmas Day. The trivalley sits of dublin and pleasanton are mourning the tragic loss of three of their own. A makeshift memorial has been set up at the crash site. Dublin School District identified four of the victims as dublin high students, 16yearold Twin Brothers mark and Michael Urista and Javier Ramirez died. Two other teens are hospitalized. They have their lives in front of them and they were vibrant young men and women and it is devastating to our schools and to our community. The superintendent said the community has been hit hard by this accident since the students have been in the district since elementary school. I havent really noticed that for the days yet. Im still very busy with work. But for the years, absolutely. They seem to click by faster and faster. Time is the one thing we usually wish we had more ofment especially as we reach that point in life where there are more days behind us than ahead of us. It is also something that we tend to waste without giving it much thought. We wasted on worrying about things we cant control, petty disagreements and grudges with family and friends. All sorts of ways that wont seem worth it when were lying on aur deathbeds. If were among the lucky each of us will get a full turn at life and our 80s our 90s.
