Last night is usually about three hours. Jimmy three hours. Youre dancing for three hours. I mean, we have intervals, but the intervals were not chilling, im changing hair and makeup. Putting on another costume, changing my point shoes, everything. Jimmy this sounds absolutely exhausting. It is. Jimmy is it fun though . Yeah, its fun. Jimmy and how many months did it take to shoot this movie . I too being about sik about months off from the royal ballet. Jimmy when you take that much time off, is it bad for ballet . Do you have to dance every single day to stay in shape . Yes, we train our whole life. And even if you take more than two days off you start to feel a difference, so i would actually get to sets where i would get to the studios like two hours before the rest of the karcast,d i would go into makeup and do ballet class before i went to the makeup chair. So sometimes im doing ballet class at 6 30 in the morning. Jimmy so youre still taking classes. Yes. Jimmy do you have a coach or you do it by yourself . No, someone comes in and whips me into shape. Jimmy these other actors are coming in like im exhausted and youre like, yeah, i did two hours of ballet. Yeah. Jimmy and the cast, you have this very highprofile cast. James corden was here, dame judi dench, who else . Jennifer hudson. Taylor swift. Jimmy taylor swift, yes. Idris elba. Jimmy and you all took cat lessons. Now this is where you who teaches you to be a cat . So we had a kate behavioral specialist. Jimmy thats a real thing . Thats a real job, yeah. Jimmy by the way, theres no reason to applaud for that. Not a career i approve of, so go on. There was a lady called sarah dowelling, a choreographer i knew before. And for this film she studied cat behavior, every time wed do a scene shed help us make everything we did a little more feline. We literally did cat school every day, it was like part of getting into the zone. Jimmy so judi dench was in cat school . Yeah. Jimmy and they were like, no, you have to be more catty, judy. Really . Yeah. Jimmy did anyone cough up a hairball or anything like that . No. Jimmy see a ball of yarn, and suddenly, youre running away . And then did you feel like it made you more like a cat . Yeah, definitely, no, seriously, at weekends when i had time off, when i was with my friends, sometimes theyd look at me weird, and theyd say, frankie, you just picked that up like a cat. I dont know, something feline about the way i was doing things. Jimmy frankie, why are you licking my face . Let me get you a saucer of milk. Did you drink milk like that . Did in the film. Jimmy do you want to do more acting . Is that the plan . Definitely, i love my job. And i want to keep doing ballet as long as possible. Its a short career. It doesnt last very long. Jimmy tell me about it. I got bounced out when i turned 35. And you sing in the movie as well. I do. Jimmy was that something that youve done through your whole life . No, it was not. No, i sang at school a little bit, but this was completely out of my comfort zone. I just remember doing my first audition and being terrified singing in front of one person. Then obviously, just had to keep doing it with more help until i was just singing in front of a whole cast and crew and taylor swift. Jimmy hundryou had to sing front Andrew Lloyd Weber and taylor swift. Yeah. Jimmy does taylor swift teach you the song she wrote. She asked to meet me, and she had written the lyrics for andrews music. She gave kneeme a private conce. Me, her and a pianist. Jimmy a what . A pianist. Jimmy im just being dumb, sorry.
