Now they have launched an investigation to figure out how this happened. Its unconscionable that at the same time the port has been undermining our communities by aiding in the deportation of immigrant workers and their families. Reporter outrage at the board meeting. The agency oversees oaklands airport where roughly 43,000 detainees have flown out on i. C. E. Chartered airplanes. We want no use of our airport by i. C. E. Its an Agency Working on behalf of a government that is making public threats. Reporter oakland is a sanctuary city and considering the flighting originated out of oakland, many are call thing a violation of city policy. Certainly were taking this seriously. And our aim is to ensure the port of oakland meets its sanctuary city commitments. Its hard to believe no one knew about it. Reporter he expressed his disappointment and frustration. The detail and dedication from an artist who only started working on the mural monday. Its an amazing effort. I applause the effort and its extremely well done.
