Body cam videos and calls from earlier this month when officers shot and killed a mentally ill man armed with a fourfoot among metal pry bar. Myles halls mother and grandmother called 911 to say he was threatening them and had broken a sliding glass door. His family says he was known to police and his mother said this to the dispatcher. Hes going to be aggressive to the police. Reporter five officereds responded to the neighborhood. Police released footage you see here as well as video from a Home Security curt camera. An officer fired bean bag rounds but he kept running toward officers and two fired their weapons. Attorney john burriss says the video shows hall was running alongside officers. The fact that he was trying to get away, you dont get to shoot somebody down who is running away unless that person has committed a deadly offense. The hall family has alreadified a wrongful death claim against police and burriss says a federal civil rights lawsuit will be filed. The family of Slain Sacramento Police officer Tara Osullivan is speaking publicly for the First Time Since her tragic death.
