We are hearing stories about homes shaking, pictures falling off the walls and residents who are very tired this morning. Danville residents are needing extra caffeine this morning. Another round of earthquakes woke up this town overnight, ending the week just as it started, with interrupted sleep. Last night the earthquake hit and it was jolted our house and woke us up at 3 00, 4 00 in the morning. It was intense. Its nuts. We have a little dog that sleeps on our bed with us and he freaks out all the time. Reporter several earthquakes hit Early Morning on tuesday, prompting the School District to put School Districts on alert after the long president s day weekend. We sent an email to our schools asking them to do an earthquake drill this week. Its a Good Opportunity to remind students and staff about our procedures. When i came into my office this morning, i was surprised to see that there were some pictures that were hanging on the wall down and some others that were on the shelves. The Broward County sheriff is outraged after learning the Armed School Resource deputy on campus failed to act. He says the deputy was caught on camera standing outside the building. This is just a few blocks from delores park and the fire started about 10 30 this morning. Weve seen smoke rising for at least 30 minutes from this building. You see firefighters on the roof right now. And the building on fire is a multistory victorian. Firefighters have been inside fighting the fire as well. We have not heard any reports of any injuries yet. We have no word on what exactly sparked this fire. The flames appear to have burned the back of the building. There is visible damage to the outside of the house. You see firefighters working on the roof. Some hot spots still burning. Were going to continue to monitor the situation. British police say prince harrys fiancee Meghan Markle could have been the victim of a hate crime. They received a suspicious package with an unknown white substance and a note. Counterterror officials are now investigating. They say the white substance was harmless. Necessity have n they have not revealed what was written in the note but they say it may have been a hate crime. A warning from Berkeley Police to keep an eye on your laptop. Despite the arrest of six suspected thieves, more laptops are stolen and many more are stolen at cafes.
