There are 130 of these medical marijuana ads on buses in San Francisco. The proposed amendment that will be its going to go before the board today it will put marijuana ads in a category with other substances that are already banned from the side of busses. This amendment would be consistent with what we do for alcohol and firearms and tobacco items as far as our ad policy. So it is consistent with that and its something that were modeling this proposal after. It doesnt look like this proposal will get any push back. The Washington Post says the women who have accused long time broadcaster charlie rose of Sexual Misconduct they say that those women did not know one another and did work with charlie rose but at different times. Three women shared their experiences with business insider. Five of the women told the Washington Post that rose groped them, two say he walked naked in front of them and one accused rose of firing her after he allegedly touched her inappropriately and made sexually charged remarks to her. The army corps of engineers have removed debris from 40 properties, 474 right of entry forms have been accepted. That means crews are given permission to go on the properties and remove the debris. Cal oes says theyd like 100 participation but 104 Property Owners have not dmited a form. Mgm resorts are not commenting on the lawsuits from attorneys representing victims from the shooting massacre. They have filed five lawsuits involved the defendants include mgm resorts which owns the land lay bay owe tell and live nation as well which promoted the route 91 harvest festival. A judge has blocked an order from President Trump that would have caused two major bay area communities billions of dollars. Santa clara county filed a lawsuit to stop the Trump Administration from withholding federal funds from sanctuary cities. It is described as a jurisdiction that will not allow local Law Enforcement to hold someone in custody on behalf of immigration and customs enforcement. Santa clara county stood to lose 1. 7 billion. San francisco had 2 billion at stake. Every step of the way the county of santa clara has won on this case and this is really an almost fatal blow to the administration on the issue of detention, of immigrants without due process. The department of justice said the District Court exceeded its authority and it is preparing to fight. Some Insurance Companies are giving north bay fire victims inaccurate information about their rights under state law. Insurance commissioner dave jones says adjusters brought in from out of state are telling victims their living expense benefits expire in 12 months, its actually 24 months. Some homeowners are told if they dont rebuild in the same location they wont get full replacement cost, also they have 6 to 12 months to correct that replacement. Again, it is 24 months. People who lost their jobs due to the fires have another month to apply for federal unemployment benefits. Hundreds of people are looking for work despite several job fairs. The Labor Department is extending the application deadline to december 18th. Claims after the deadline will be considered if there is reasonable cause for the delay.
