Investigators say bryant wore a nursing uniform when she burglarized several rooms at the nursing home. California lawmakers took a big step towards becoming a sanctuary state. The assembly voted on a bill to limit Police Cooperation with federal immigration authorities, the latest effort by democratic law makers to create barriers to President Trumps pledge to step up Immigration Enforcement efforts. That means inspectors may likely place a violation notice on the property this week. The notice will inform the public that the building is in violation of earthquake safety codes. The Property Owners will have 30 days to respond. Those who are not compliant cant sell or lease their property until they finish the work. A federal Appeals Court upheld a state law banning the sale of foie gras made by force feeding ducks and geese. The judges said a state law preventing sales was not preempted by the federal Governments Authority to regulate poultry products.
