Reporter ruri kobayakawa was at the beach with friends when she decided to climb the cliff. When i realized i wanted to come back down, thats when everything went bad. I was climbing down, where my right hand was, the rock just crumbled. From there i knew i was like, okay, i cant do anything. I remember falling. Reporter she hit her head at least once on the way down. Laying on the ground, i remember slowly moving and realizing how much pain i was in. A wave actually came and splashed me with salt water. Reporter if she had landed in the water, she probably would have died. The Santa Cruz CountySheriffs Office posted the video on its Facebook Page as a warning to beachgoers. A stark reminder of the dangers that are out there when youre in Mother Nature and youre in an area that just isnt, you know, developed for people to climb on. Reporter ruri suffered only bumps and bruises but she knows her fall traumatized her dad. Instead of taking care of me for a week, he could have been spending a week planning a funeral. Investigators say bryant wore a nursing uniform when she burglarized several rooms at the nursing home. After intense back and forth, california lawmakers took a big step towards becoming a sanctuary state. The assembly voted on a bill to limit Police Cooperation with federal immigration authorities. Reporter since wednesday, the department of building inspection has seen a mad dash of applicants. The number of remaining noncompliant properties was 600 by Late Afternoon on friday. I certainly think that people in San Francisco are very aware that this is a very high risk. Reporter the department of building inspection has listed this building here in the Mission District as being noncompliant. That means inspectors may likely place a violation notice on the property this week. The notice will inform the public that the building is in violation of earthquake safety codes. The Property Owners will have 30 days to respond. Those who are not compliant cant sell or lease their property until they finish the work. A federal Appeals Court upheld a state law banning the sale of foie gras made by force feeding ducks and geese. The judges said a state law preventing sales was not preempted by the federal Governments Authority to regulate poultry products. The ruling will not take effect until the appeals process ends and a mandate is issued, so restaurants can still serve it for now. The group people for the ethical treatment of animals celebrated. This morning, British Police have arrested an 18yearold man in connection with the london subway attack. The attack came after a bomb exploded during rush hour on a crowded subway car. 29 people were injured. Isis has claimed responsibility. And they say there are other devices hidden on the trains. An allout manhunt for those who planted the bomb on the packed subway car. The homemade explosive detonated at 8 20 a. M. , ruthlessly targeting passengers going to work, children to school. Within three seconds of putting a bag down, the doors closing, i heard a loud explosion occur. I turned to the left and saw the fire surge to my side. Reporter then panic as people desperately tried to escape. A woman beneath me said, im pregnant. There was layers and layers of people screaming. People were getting crushed, people were trampling each other, every man for themselves. Reporter on the platform, chaos, confusion. But towards the back of the train, hushed passengers move out single file across the tracks as Emergency Responders tend to the injured. I saw one woman being wheeled out on a stretcher.
