Kaizer Chiefs founder and chairman Kaizer Motaung has reflected on the club's 51st anniversary and opened up on their failure to clinch the Premiership title last season.
Today marks 51 years since the formation of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, which has grown in leaps and bounds both on and off the field during this period.
As the most successful club in South Africa, having tallied 93 domestic cups to date, Amakhosi's history speaks volumes of the club's pedigree and impact on local football.
Reflecting on another year, Motaung acknowledged the disappointing manner in which its 50th anniversary ended on the final day of the 2019/20 season but also had renewed optimism that they will end their dreaded longest trophy drought in the club's history.
