EMOTIONAL tributes have been paid to a ‘special dad’ from Bolton who died at the scene of a horrific two-car smash on Tuesday night.
Jamie Crompton, 34, was driving a black Fiat 500 when he was involved in a collision at the junction of Long Causeway and Albert Road in Farnworth shortly before 11pm on May 25.
The vehicle collided with a silver Vauxhall Insignia, according to police. The scene of the tragedy has since been filled with flowers and tributes.
A card ‘in memory of a special Dad’ has been attached to railings at the scene of the crash, alongside pictures of Mr Crompton with loved ones.
