Inverclyde support hub urges community groups to ask for funding

AN INVERCLYDE support hub is encouraging community groups to apply for funding to get through the pandemic.
CVS Inverclyde helps community organisations access extra money and gets in touch with funders who want to support local groups.
Chief executive Charlene Elliot says funding for community groups is crucial at the best of times - and even more so at the moment as Inverclyde deals with the pandemic.
The team at CVS send out regular bulletins with details of grant funding and provide one-to-one support to organisations on making applications.
They also bring groups of funders together to discuss cash available to encourage groups to apply.
