Interior Health reports 44 new COVID-19 cases and a death in West Kelowna
Another 44 cases of COVID-19 were identified in the BC Interior over the past 24 hours.
It brings the region to 6,916 total cases since the start of the pandemic, with 880 currently active.
Hospitalization numbers continue to slowly decrease, with 43 currently in Interior Health hospitals due to COVID-19 and 13 of them in intensive care.
Unfortunately, there was also a death to report over the past 24 hours, which brings the total to 84 in the BC Interior since the start of the pandemic.
The death occurred at Heritage Retirement Residence in West Kelowna.
