Innocence Sold: Foster system a pipeline for child sex traffickers

A year-long investigation by the South Florida Sun Sentinel exposed the complicity of Florida’s child welfare system in underage sex trafficking. Evidence found in government databases, state and federal lawsuits, interviews with victims and survivors and foster care records shows the state's foster system creates a pipeline of vulnerable girls to violent sex traffickers.
