Imo's moving closer to reopening

Workers on Monday cut a hole in the north side of the Godfrey Imo’s Restaurant at 2704 Godfrey Road for a drive-up window. The restaurant, which was severely damaged in an October fire, previously did not have a drive-up window. No date has been set for the restaurant’s reopening.
ALTON — A drive-up window is being added as part of the repairs to the fire-damaged Imo’s on Godfrey Road.
On Monday, workers were removing blocks and cutting a hole in the north side of the restaurant at 2704 Godfrey Road for a drive-up window. The restaurant, owned by brothers Tyler and Thomas Shereck, formerly did not have a drive-up window.
