Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has said his trip to India for the G20 summit is to advance democracy in Nigeria and secure “strong alliances” for the country that would enhance development. Tinubu whose election as the president was upheld by the Presidential Election Petition Court on Wednesday, still faces an uncertain future as his challengers have headed for the Supreme Court. The former Lagos state governor is attending the G20 summit being hosted by India and on the invitation of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
