Wednesday Night Forecast Update
Wednesday Night Forecast for February 10th:
As the temperatures continue to drop tonight, the rain we have seen so far will begin to turn over to freezing rain and ice in West Tennessee. Heavy precipitation is expected off and on until noon Thursday and 1/4″ to 1/2″ ice could accumulate across the region. The heaviest bands are expected between 2-7 AM in Jackson & Madison county. Travel is strongly discouraged. Commerce will likely be severely impacted. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Ice accumulations and winds will likely lead to snapped power lines and falling tree branches that add to the danger. We will have a full in depth report coming up right here!
