Husband also charged in plot to kill wife's ex

A Wilburton man was charged in a plot to kill his wife's ex-husband after he admitted to obtaining a weapon to be used in the deed, according to court documents.
Dustin Keith Deatherage, 24, was charged Friday with solicitation for murder in the first degree, according to court documents filed Friday in Latimer County District Court.
Deatherage’s wife, 25-year-old Courtney Deatherage, was charged Thursday in connection to the alleged murder-for-hire plot.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents spoke with a man who travelled from Texas who said Courtney Deatherage wanted him to kill her ex-husband for a total of $500.
