Hunt/trap/fish: WV lawmakers OK DNR revenue-cutting bill |

The West Virginia House of Delegates Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee approved, on Jan. 24, 2024, House Bill 4504, which would allow nonresident landowners to hunt, trap and fish on their land without a license. The Division of Natural Resources says it would cost the agency over $1 million in annual revenue and force cuts to at least four Natural Resources police officers.
