Johnston, RI, Feb 22,2021 - Anna Amalfitano, age 87, gets a hug from her granddaughter Erica Henry during the visit. Visitors are allowed brief contact at the start of a visit but then must continue the visit 6 feet apart in accordance with the RIDOH Visitation Guidance for Long-Term Care facilities.

They say February is heart month – and there were two pictures shot by Journal photographer Bob Breidenbach this week that showed people who have love for each other. With restrictions lifting on visits to loved ones who are elderly, photo opportunities came up for people to once again embrace with family members and friends.
