BEAVER — An investigation in Beaver Township is underway to determine the cause of a Monday night house fire.
The township fire department responded to a call at 10:30 p.m. of a structure fire at 9528 New Buffalo Road, where fire Chief Larry Sauerwein said “a major renovation” process was underway.
The house will likely be a total loss, with at least 75 percent damaged from the fire, Sauerwein said Tuesday.
There were no injuries, and nothing suspicious is suspected at this time, he said.
The single-family house was more than 2,250 square feet and was built in 1989, according to the Mahoning County Auditor’s website.
