Homeruns, Strikeouts, And A WIN - Lookouts Triumph 8-6

Home runs, strikeouts, and walks. These three outcomes rule modern baseball, for better or for worse. Trash Panda starter Reid Detmers struck out a whopping 16 batters in only six innings of work? That’s great, right?
Well, he also gave up three home runs and five earned runs in the Lookouts 8-6 win against Rocket City. Such is the nature of America’s pastime in 2021.
Played under cloudy skies, the Lookouts struck out 19 times but still came away with the win.
Ray Patrick-Didder used his blazing speed, and some subpar Lookouts fielding, to get on second after a grounder to third went awry. He came home after David MacKinnon dropped a line drive in front of center fielder T.J Hopkins. For the second time in as many days, the Trash Pandas went up before the Lookouts had even had a chance to take a swing.
