Although annual events such as the Shamrock Club's Irish Family Reunion
and St. Patrick's Day Parade are canceled because of COVID-19, President Andy Shuman said the club will look forward to conducting events in 2022.
Meanwhile, here's a sampling of events taking place in person or virtually to recognize Ireland's heritage and culture.

• St. Patrick's Day reverse parade
The City of Dublin will host the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Darree Fields, 6259 Cosgray Rd. But with social-distancing guidelines in effect, it won't be your typical parade.
The parade's Irish dancers, floats and other participant groups will be stationary as spectators pass through the free event from their cars.
