'She never left her friends behind': Buffalo Grove woman dies in Mount Rainier accident

Buffalo Grove native Rachel Heiss died after an accidental fall Sept. 9 while hiking near one of her favorite places, Mount Rainier in Washington state. "One of the things about Rachel is she never left her friends behind," said her father, Mark Heiss.
