HAMC to rebuild community partnerships

MACOMB — During Monday’s meeting, the Housing Authority of McDonough County Board of Commissioners discussed how the housing authority would work on rebuilding partnerships with community organizations.
HAMC Executive Director Annette Carper told the board that former Executive Director Bill Jacobs was able to form partnerships with community organizations. She said she wanted to recreate those partnerships with those organizations. She said having a Western Illinois University graduate assistant serving an AmeriCorps term at the housing authority would help them build better relationships with WIU and both the Macomb and Bushnell communities.
