New Delhi: Gujarat assembly speaker Rajendra Trivedi recently participated in the state BJP parliamentary board meeting at Gandhinagar, triggering questions on his impartiality.
Times of India, Trivedi attended the BJP meeting on Monday, February 1.
Earlier member of the BJP, Trivedi was announced Speaker in early 2018, after which he resigned from the party. An MLA from Raopura in Vadodara district, he has earlier been minister of state of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities (independent charge) and Pilgrimage Development.
