Guion Converts In Overtime For Clemson’s Fifth Straight Win
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s soccer team (11-4-0, 5-3 ACC) defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide (7-8-2, 2-5-2 SEC) by a 1-0 score, closing out its home slate for the 2020-21 season at 7-0-0. The perfect home record for this year’s squad marks the first time in program history that a team has concluded their home season without suffering a loss or draw.
“This place is special and I think we all know that,” 10th year Head Coach Eddie Radwanski spoke on the home season. “It’s an honor to play here and represent Clemson and really speaks volumes to the wins we had here this season. To be able to do it for the first time is a credit to the players and the work they have put in.”
