GTP Headlines Twin Influencers Become Greece's Tourism Ambassadors in China

Greek Tourism Minister
twin influencers Marianna and Sofia Erotokritou with the title of
“Greece’s Tourism Ambassadors to China” for their efforts to promote the country to Chinese social media.
Known as the
@greek_twins, the Erotokritou sisters study in Beijing and promote Greece through their social media channels. Their videos are highly popular on the Chinese version of YouTube. So far they have promoted Hydra, Naxos and Paros, while their video on Athens and Santorini has exceeded 1 million views.
“With his decision, the Tourism Minister aims to enhance the image of Greece abroad… The Erotokritou sisters act as an added value [for Greece], attracting visitors from China,” the ministry said in an announcement.
