Grove man earns 3 years prison for sex with minor

OTTAWA — A 42-year-old Columbus Grove man received the maximum sentence of three years in prison Monday for having sex with a minor.
Joshua B. Miller, of Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for importuning and 18 months for gross sexual imposition by Putnam County Common Pleas Court Judge Keith Schierloh. Miller was given credit for 108 days served and any additional days while awaiting prison. A charge of rape was dismissed. He was also registered as a Tier One sex offender and will have to register every year for 15 years.
