BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ- When Maria Flamos first came to the Berkeley Heights school district 25 years ago, she didn’t suspect that she would work as a secretary at Governor Livingston for 18 years, a position she moved into at the school in 2002.
Prior to working as a secretary, Flamos took courses at the Institute of Financial Education. Also, she had worked in finance and accounting as an officer in a bank.
Flamos spent seven years working in the central office for the Berkeley Heights Public Schools, where her official title was accountant and bookkeeper.
