Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has condemned the recurring killings in some villages of Bassa Local Government Area of the state and directed security agencies to fish out those behind the dastardly act.
Bassa local government has been under a siege of attack by gunmen in the past two years. On Monday no fewer than four persons were ambushed and killed by the rampaging gunmen while several houses were burnt in some villages in Kwall District of the local government.
The governor in a statement signed by his Director for Press and Public Affairs, Dr Makut Simon Maham, tasked the security agencies to do everything possible to put a stop to the situation.
