A fugitive gunman wanted over an alleged domestic violence incident has been arrested after a 30-hour manhunt across the Gold Coast.
Mark Lutgenau was taken into custody by Special Emergency Response Team officers at a Nerang address about 4.15pm on Wednesday.
He was bitten on the forearm during the arrest and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains under police guard.
After receiving treatment, Lutgenau will be taken to a police station for questioning, where charges are expected to be laid over a string of incidents.
