Rakesh Ranjan Lal, Deputy Inspector General of the Border Security Force (BSF) in the Gokul Nagar sector of Tripura, has expressed concern over new ganja plantations in forest areas along India's border with Bangladesh.

According to a senior BSF official, the volume of new plantations is growing in lockstep with the BSF's efforts to discover, seize, and destroy them.
