UK: Four arrested after cocaine worth more than $50 million found in pub car park

Four men have been arrested after half a tonne of cocaine worth more than $50 million (40 million pounds) was found in a van in the car park of a Yorkshire village pub.

Around 500-kilogramme of cocaine – with an estimated street value of about more than $50 million – was found in the car park of the Stags Head Inn in Lelley in East Yorkshire, England, said the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA).  ....

Punjab youth beaten to death after alleged sacrilege incident

A 19-year-old person was allegedly beaten to death on Saturday (May 4) in Ferozepur district of Punjab, over 400 km north of New Delhi, after an alleged sacrilege incident. 

According to police, Bakshish Singh, a resident of Talli Gulam village, allegedly tore some pages of a sacred religious text after entering a place of worship Bandala village of Punjab's Ferozepur. 

The deceased person's father Lakhwinder Singh claimed that his son had been suffering from a mental illness and was receiving the treatment for the same, Press Trust of India reported.  ....
