Fremont Prosecutor taking over case involving Tammy Daybell's death

Blake made the announcement via press release Thursday night.
Blake was elected to office in November and took the place of Marcia Murdoch who opted not to run for office again.
“(Blake) requested the case be transferred back to Fremont to be handled locally,” said the press release
Last year, Murdoch requested that the Idaho State Attorney General’s Office handle the case.
“The Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office thanks the Idaho Attorney General’s Office for their hard work, time and effort on this case,” it said.
It wasn't known why Blake decided to take over the case.
