Chad Daybell, Lori Vallow-Daybell face murder charges in deaths of Tammy Daybell, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow

FREMONT COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - Prosecutors announced Grand Jury indictments Tuesday against Chad Guy Daybell and Lori Vallow Daybell related to the deaths of Tammy Daybell, Tylee Ryan and Joshua Jaxon JJ Vallow.
Tammy Daybell was Chad Daybell s wife at the time of her murder, and Tylee and JJ were Lori Daybell s children.
Fremont County Prosecutor Lindsey Blake, Madison County Prosecutor Rob Wood and their deputies presented evidence to the Grand Jury connected to all three homicides. Both believe there is probable cause to prove the crimes were committed as part of a conspiracy, and a Fremont County Grand Jury agreed.

ST. ANTHONY The Idaho Attorney General’s Office investigation into the death of Tammy Daybell is now headed back to the Fremont County Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecuting Attorney Lindsey Blake, who was elected in November, made the announcement in a news release Thursday evening.
“Effective this week, the Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has resumed full authority and responsibility over the case of the death of Tammy Daybell,” Blake wrote. “The newly elected prosecutor requested the case be transferred back to Fremont to be handled locally. The Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office thanks the Idaho Attorney General’s Office for their hard work, time and effort on this case.”
Blake made the announcement via press release Thursday night.
Blake was elected to office in November and took the place of Marcia Murdoch who opted not to run for office again.
â(Blake) requested the case be transferred back to Fremont to be handled locally,â said the press release
Last year, Murdoch requested that the Idaho State Attorney Generalâs Office handle the case.
âThe Fremont County Prosecuting Attorneyâs Office thanks the Idaho Attorney Generalâs Office for their hard work, time and effort on this case,â it said.
It wasn t known why Blake decided to take over the case.

ST. ANTHONY A Fremont County man will spend up to a year in prison treatment programs after investigators found a severely injured 4-month-old boy.
Mekenzee Grant, 27, pleaded guilty to felony injury to a child and on Dec. 22, District Judge Steven Boyce sent him on a rider program. Fremont County Prosecutor Marcia Murdoch had signed an agreement with Grant that if he pleaded guilty, she would recommend he be placed on a rider.
