>> how can anybody thank that joe biden would do a better job on the border? it should be 90-10 not 60-30. the economy is something donald trump wants to talk about continuously because the fact is most americans are poor today -- poor them when biden came into office when you take into account the cost of living. these numbers are very simple. the inflation rate for the things you have to buy up 22 percent or so. some things are up 25 or 30 percent. and you look at people's incomes up about 17 percent. by my estimates the average family has lost about $2000 in purchasing power. you know what that was under trump? >> the only one it's designed to help is joe biden. he wants to pretend like he gives a damn about our border. under his order there really is no border security. there is no shutting down the border. he does not count the god always. allows over 900,000 people to come in, 2500 a day. we also don't count people coming across the port of entries. there's no border security here, we're talking about millions of people still coming into this country, no vetting process. military aged man, why are they coming, what did they plan to do? >> trace: standby. the fox news and i commonsense department loves it when california governor gavin newsom takes a swipe at fox news. happens a lot so there's a lot to love. this time they posted and posted on social media that california has the nation's most fortune 500 companies and added that you wouldn't hear that on fox. and yet here we are. the common sense wonders why he is touting the big dog corporations and undermining the mom-and-pop shops. he could not wait to publicize his mandate that fast food workers get 20 bucks an hour. he's not quite as motivated to publicize the fact that his mandate has now cost 10,000 jobs. 10,000 workers who would gladly go back to 16 bucks an hour because at least they be working. rubio's tacos, born and bred in california now closing 48 golden state stores. they are closing over money, but hundreds of california businesses have shut down because of crime. but they think now is a good time to cut hundreds of millions from state justice. that's cops, prisons, prosecutors. how did that defunding thing go last time around? now some retail chains wanted their employees to wear body cams to patrol the stores. who needs a cop when you have a camera? maybe instead of going after fox had newsom should watch fox. you might pick up a trace of common sense. to bring them back for california state assembly... a long with the founder of american gravy concepts, restaurant owner and chef... i have a couple of headlines here. california fast food restaurants have cut 10,000 jobs thanks to the states 20-dollar minimum wage and foxbusiness goes on to say... announced the closure of 48 restaurants in the golden state amid rising business costs. it is tough to do business in california. >> i think that number is just the beginning jobs lost, this is really devastating for california but they are talking about how great it is for the fortune 500 companies. these problems can be resolved by addressing crime, regulation and taxes. crime specifically so people go out to eat more and they feel more comfortable going out, regulations making it easier for these businesses to operate and to taxes. you want to put more money in the workers pockets, cut the taxes. it's outrageous in california. >> trace: it's crazy. that's the whole thing and people say what are they going to do. we don't know but they do the wrong thing time and time again. foxbusiness says this about body cameras. the parent company of retail stores such as t.j. maxx, marshals and home goods is equipping employees with body cameras to thwart theft. thieves don't care if you have a camera on you. they're not like does that guy have a camera because i'm not stealing a thing. there's 13 surveillance cameras. >> they don't stop when all the other consumers are sitting there capturing the smash and grabs on camera. i think the reason why these stores in california have body cameras isn't because they think anything is going to be done to punish the criminals or deter them. they are doing it because they don't want the lawsuits. they are afraid that these people will say this happened to me while i was in the store, he hurt me and i think what they want is just a document what's going on to protect their employees and to prevent liabilities. no one is getting punished for property crime and that's why it's spiking. >> trace: there's a woman named krystal cousins and she lives between two fire hydrants. they both got stolen. here's what she said. >> this is so crazy. it's mind-boggling that a fire hydrant would be stolen. out of all the thanks to steal. they backed the truck into it because i guess they couldn't lift it off. this one on the video they actually just lifted off. >> they do it fast. >> they are in and out in ten minutes. >> they've got it down to a system now. eighty-five fire hydrant have been stolen so far this year. they get the metal and they make some money off it apparently. >> a professional crime syndicate. now this is actually... but it almost hurts if you like this is by design because it's so pervasive and you have to ask yourself what is the end goal? would you recommend that people say get out of blue and go to read. >> decades? i was born and raised in california. i holly girl through and through. this was my home, where i've always known where i want to call it asked my college. i was also a tv journalist for many years working in los angeles for over a decade. i've seen everything and i've seen unfortunately the downhill that california has taken. i do not think it's going to get better. i absolutely suggest moving to a red state and here's why. there are such differences. we've lived here since august. not very long, but i can tell your scene may be to homeless people since we've moved here. one was tonight on the way here to the studios. since august, crime. there's a sense of safety here and i love the fight that you are doing. it's a good fight that you're doing tonight, i commend you and i respected. i was one of those people but i just, when you start having children and you see the lifestyle and the fact that this is like... you come home from picking up your children from school, you're going into your gated communities kick -- kids are outside throwing the balls, playing on the scooters. that's the way it should be. los angeles, you walk outside and not to mention you're paying such high taxes in la county walk outside and you are afraid you were going to get robbed. >> trace: the los angeles times writes the following here, golden hate. survey highlights the nation's negative perception of california as californians we are aware of how than --... the golden state has lost its lustre. you say listen, small victories can lead to big things. >> we need more good people here. i understand that everybody's individually and every but -- every family will have that cost-benefit analysis. i was raised in an evangelical family and i love how christians and a lot of conservatives are like we to send good people to dc and... but what about the mission field of california? do you still have some unsettled issues about that? >> are not an angry person, i'm always looking to the future. i was very opposed to all restrictions to children. as well as lockdowns, all of the restrictions. i did focus on the restrictions on children. closed schools, masking of toddlers, closed playgrounds. i lived in san francisco where the playgrounds were closed for ten months. it was insanity. i was very outspoken about that. and up leaving the city that i loved. it was very difficult. i lost a lot of friends, fractured family relationships but i was right. what i am upset about is that the children have been harmed. not it's -- not upset about myself at all period children continue to suffer from the school closures and they have not recovered fully yet. that is very upsetting to me and i will continue to advocate for them. >> trace: people don't know or have not heard, you were a world-class gymnast. you're coming from an athletic background and you started your own company. why start your own company because your whole motto is that you are supporting female athletes. >> i took a couple years to figure out what i was going to do next after i resigned and i looked around at all of these athletic brands that claimed to champion women and claim to want what's best for women. they do nothing of the sort. i looked at my own background as an elite athlete, as someone that is a world-class to brand builder and someone not afraid to say controversial things. i realize this is what i have to do next. i need to start my own brand. we are the only athletic brand that stands up for women sports and female athletes. no one else is doing it. no one is willing to say that very hard but very obvious thing that men are stronger and faster than women and we deserve our own sports and spaces. that's it. >> trace: you wrote an op-ed about nike saying they have a woman problem, going on to say nike is a brand that weighs in on every social issue from racism to the environment to women's empowerment. nothing to say on the matter of males stealing trophies and... nike weighs in on everything. >> they claim to champion women and in reality, everybody in the industry knows they treat women with astonishing disregard. whether it's the sexual harassment claims from inside the company, whether it's how they treat world-class athletes like allyson felix who they refused maternity protections for or whether it's how they abuse runners in their own running program which has now been shut down because of that abuse. it really isn't surprising that at the end of the day they are refusing to stand up for actual women. they want all the woke virtue signalling that they can kind of muster for their own reputation. when it comes to taking an actual stance and really supporting women, of course they are not want to do it. that's where we come in, we are a challenger brand. 70 percent of americans agree with us that women deserve their own sports and spaces. we think there's a real opportunity for this brand. >> trace: fox news at night is right there with you. best of luck. come back anytime, thank you. >> thank you so much for having me. >> you all knew that something's worth -- were worth dying for. one's country's worth dying for and democracy is worth dying for. let us make about who are dead. let us show them by our actions that we understand what they died for. >> trace: on this 80th anniversary of d-day, we want your reactions to president reagan's words 40 years ago. are we as a nation still honouring the brave young men who were willing to die for democracy and for their country?
