does the president's dismall poll numbers drag down democrats? and what does it look like for republicans in key places? kentucky looks like a loss, mississippi positioned to be a win. we'll check the numbers and come back later on. >> jesse: all right, bret, thank you very much. we'll keep following it. election day in an off year. but there's a lot of action on the local level. plus it gives them a dry run when no one's watching for the presidential. are you confident the election is going to be safe and secure? i'm confident that it's going to be that way in florida because they have voter i.d., no harvesting. they count the votes ahead of time an they give you the results that night. but we need confidence in every state or else we lose faith. when there's fraud, and, yes there will be voter fraud, it needs to be investigated, validated and prosecuted. in spring field, massachusetts, justin hearst is running for mayor. he's been accused of paying people to vote for him. surveillance video allegedly shows the candidates dropping voters off at city hall for early voting. the voters then come back out, show their i voted early sticker and they get paid cash. the candidate then pulls his car back up and picks up the voters who just got paid. he denies it. >> any accusation that my team paid residents in exchange for their vote is false and nothing more than a last minute smear campaign. >> jesse: sure. it's probably never happened before. last night we told you that in patterson, new jersey, a politician was charged with personally taking mounds of mail-in ballots, destroying ones that voted against him and making new ones that vote for him. how do the politicians themselves get their hands on the ballots? that's probably never happened before either. then there's bridgeport, connecticut. a judge just overturned a primary election because two women were seen on surveillance allegedly stuffing absent see ballots in drop boxes across the city. one of those women is wanda, aka wanda the stuffer. we ran a background on wanda. she's been breaking the law since the '80s. charges of drug possession, adult, vandalism, resisting arrest, parole violations galore. wanda is a democratic operative, who's been working to get out the vote in connecticut for years. the state investigating her in a separate voter fraud case from 20 t 19. she's accused of doing the same thing for the same candidate four years ago. and in the same year she got caught stuffing, connecticut gave wanda an award for ballot harvesting. ballot harvester of the year. here she is at the astro turf club for the women's leadership awards brunch. yum, yum, yum. help me wanda. and she's doing it again and it's on camera. wanda works for the city of bridgeport. she's an operations specialist making about 60 grand a year. the stuffer works the front desk right outside the mayor's office. she controls who goes in and out. this summer a constitutional activist tried to talk to the mayor. wanda tried to kick him out then gave him a fake name. >> hi. who are you? >> i work downstairs. >> your name? >> sheryl. >> sheryl. >> yes. you have to go back downstairs. >> why would i have to come back downstairs? >> you don't have permission to be upstairs. >> why would i need permission to be upstairs? >> jesse: the stuffer thinks she's slick and her desk is feet away from the drop box she allegedly stuffed ballots into. >> the lady caught on camera allegedly stuffing envelopes into this box drop office works feet away from the government center. this wanda except she's not here. put on leave pending the investigation into absentee ballot fraud still collecting her taxpayer funded pay check. where's wanda? fox 61 made a house call. >> hello? >> we're looking for wanda. >> wanda's not here. >> all right. yeah, we had a couple questions to ask her about the video that appears to show her stuffing the ballot box. >> nah, we have nothing to say about that. >> jesse: when wanda isn't managing the mayor's desk, she manages a bail bond agency. we gave them a call. they said talk to the lawyer. but the lawyer isn't talking either. wanda took the stand last month. she also doesn't like to talk. >> is that you walking out the front door of 999 broad street? and did you deposit completed absentee ballots not belonging to you in the drop box on that date and time? >> jesse: oh, wanda, what have you gotten into now? so wanda stuffing and taking the hit like a seasoned pro. that's probably never happened before. of course it has. there's wandas all over america. you can arrest wanda, even lock her up, but there's never going to be a time where they run out of wandas. when the ballots get stuffed by the wandas who work the desks outside the mayor's offices, it tells you the cheating machine is entrenched. is wanda a bug in the system or is wanda the system? we need cameras everywhere. we need cameras on the drop boxes, in the election centers and in the count rooms. they make place wear body cameras. we should strap body cameras to election officials. and anybody who resists transparency and security is a snake in my eyes. matt karens is a reporter based in connecticut who's been investigating this story. great job, matt. i gotta hand it to you. you went right to the house. you did what you were supposed to do. that's very good. but do you get the sense that wanda kind of might have been doing this for quite sometime? >> reporter: well, first of all, jesse, thanks a lots for having me on and for highlighting this important issue here for our state of connecticut. you know, we have an agency here in connecticut called the state election enforcement commission. they are the primary agency who's going to be investigating all of these alleged issues of ballot fraud involving wanda, many of which you just highlighted. they have dozens of complaints that they're going to be looking into. the question you asked is the question everybody wants to get to the bottom of. how deep does this go? there's a lot of questions about that. is it just a few bad actors or is this sort of organized crime? is it more of a systemic problem? so the state elections enforcement commission in connecticut will be looking into all of that. >> jesse: it seems like she has relationships across the state. she's got this mayor who she's working for. i don't know his background. she's getting awards from the democrats. what does that tell you? >> reporter: well, the mayor was convicted of federal corruption charges and sentenced to nine years in prison. he served a portion of that sentence then got re-elected here in bridgeport. so, you know, i guess if you want to talk political history here in bridgeport, it is admittedly a very dubious history. and we know that at least goes back to 2019 because, as you mentioned previously, wanda was named as part of a state election enforcement commission investigation for possible criminal charges which were just recommended to the chief state's attorney office here in connecticut. as of right now those criminal charges have still not been filed and here we are four years later. >> jesse: right. wanda is under two investigations, both for fraud, both on behalf of the mayor, who was convicted of fraud. we're not accusing her of anything. wanda is innocent until proven guilty. it looks bad. by the way, matt, what was wanda doing today on election day? >> reporter: well, as far as we know, wanda is no longer working. she's on paid administrative leave. but i think what's important about that is paid administrative leave. i mean, her salary is funded by the taxpayers. so she's still collecting, as far as we know, a taxpayer funded pay check. until criminal charges are levied or there's some sort of hard conviction here, the mayor's office certainly seems disinclined to terminate her. >> jesse: okay. she's collecting the paycheck. we hope she's not collecting more ballots. that would not be good, wanda. wanda is in enough trouble. matt, thank you very much for your reporting. democrats always accuse you of what they're guilty of. for years they've accused us of voter suppression, even voter intimidation. >> we are really truly facing an environment of fascism in america. >> jesse: today there was a big election in virginia. what do you call this? >> republican magas are scum! you're scum, buddy. >> jesse: revving your car engine and threatening republicans outside the polls kind of seems like voter intimidation to me. just me maybe. democrats have been doing this for years. look what happened when a white guy showed up to vote at a philly precinct back in 2008. >> hi. i'm here in philadelphia right here. i think you might be intimidating you have a stick in your hand. that's why. i mean, that's a weapon. that's why i'm a little worried. i mean, i am a concerned citizen. i'm just worried -- >> so are we. that's why we are here. >> but you have a night stick in your hand. >> jesse: did the guy brandishing the billy club get in trouble? no. eric holder let him off the hook. back to virginia where democrat after democrat intimidated republicans at the polls today. >> might as well have been walking to the polls with a gun to my head trying to tell me how to vote. do you expect us not to take that personally? >> jesse: the poll greeter who was confronted in that clip swroeupbs me now. so matt, what's the deal with this guy? >> jesse, it's great to be with you. this is the toll rant left in arlington, virginia. the arlington county republican committee, for which i'm the chairman, is working hard to earn the votes of people across arlington and democratic voter and progressive activists are not excited about it. they're very upset that we are organizing in this community, organizing behind enemy lines in northern virginia. this is just one manifestation of that frustration and lunacy we saw today in arlington. >> jesse: describe what the feelings are of these democrats when they see someone, like yourself, i guess as you said behind enemy lines. like you're not allowed to go out for people who vote in other neighborhoods. only certain neighborhoods are allowed. >> so in arlington, virginia, 80% of my neighbors voted for joe biden in 2020. the arlington republican committee has an uphill battle. we dispatched poll greeters across arlington today. i was one of them. i went to three locations before the location you see on the video. i was there ten minutes when this guy came up. i said, would you like a republican sample ballot and he flew off the handle. what you are seeing in this clip and online, jesse, is the second interaction i had with him. he went off the handle on the way in. i assumed that he would do it on the way back, so i put my phone in my shirt pocket and hit record. sure enough he did it. i'll let you know, jesse, i think this was the first time i said this today. i am pursuing charges. i have filed a police report. because there is a history, allegedly, a history of this gentleman engaging in this kind of activity, intimidating people he doesn't agree with and showing up at political events of his opponents and causing a ruckus. >> jesse: we'll check out who this guy is. keep us posted on what happens here. we'll cover it. thank you very much. >> thanks, jesse. >> jesse: trump's judge posts his naked bathroom selfies online. for moderate to severe crohn's disease skyrizi is the first il-23 inhibitor that can deliver remission and visibly improve damage of the intestinal lining. serious allergic reactions and an increased risk of infections or a lower ability to fight them may occur. tell your doctor if you have an infection or symptoms, had a vaccine or plan to. liver problems may occur in crohn's disease. control of crohn's means everything to me. ask your gastroenterologist about skyrizi. ♪ control is everything to me ♪ learn how abbvie could help you save. israel is under attack and jewish families are in danger. israel's enemies seek our destruction. the people of israel need immediate help. rockets have us squarely in the crosshairs. our people are targets in their own homes. many have lost everything and fear for their lives. the international fellowship of christians and jews has launched an urgent response to rescue those affected by this violent attack. our teams are on the ground across israel delivering lifesaving aid. your urgently needed gift of only $45 will help rush food, water, medicine and emergency supplies for jewish families that have nowhere to turn. time is literally running out. what we need you to do is to act now. ♪ from the mountains, ♪ to the fruited plains. ♪ it's the best part about this land. ♪ and to those of you who hear the call - answer. ♪ come in to bass pros shops and cabela's for great gear before your fall hunt. your adventure starts here. >> jesse: think back to your favorite tv drama. the suspense, the back stabbing, the plot twists. personally i was always in it for the character development, that kind of kept me hooked. the trump show has all the elements of your classic tv drama. what will the casting directors come up with next?
