Mr. President , the road to victory will be long and hard but united in purpose and with a deep sense of justice and the unbreakable spirit of our soldiers and our people, israel will prevail. Im here to tell you that terrorists will not win. Freedom will win. Israel, you are not alone. United states stands with you. Sandra President Biden pledging americas unwavering support to israel in their war to defeat hamas, all against the backdrop of massive protests across the middle east after explosion at a hospital in gaza killed hundreds of people. Hello, welcome, everyone, as we begin a brandnew hour, sandra smith in new york. Great to see you there. John good to be with you, im john roberts in jerusalem. This is america reports. President wrapping up his historic wartime visit to the middle east without meeting with arab leaders who canceled their summit with him after claiming israel was behind yesterdays horrific explosion at a hospital in gaza. Sandra john, the president says the pentagon has shown him proof the Palestinian Islamic jihad terror group was responsible for that rocket fire. Not the israelis. His statement, though, not appearing to halt the massive outrage in the arab world where violent protests have broken out in nearly every middle east country, and a massive riot breaking outside the u. S. Embassy in lebanon. John mean while, the Biden Administration has imposed a new round of sanctions again hamas and those who have helped the Terrorist Group move billion dollars in assets. Sandra, a very busy day here one certain outcome for the days ahead after President Biden came in, voiced very strong support for israel, but also saying that he was going to earmark 100 million in u. S. Aid for the palestinians. Clearly the plight of the palestinian people, nothing to do with hamas, is becoming an increasing concern of this president as outrage in the arab world grows, particularly since most of the arab nations bought into hamas claim without question that it was an israeli airstrike that hit that hospital last night. Sandra john, we are really getting a good sense of how it is going on the ground there since you had been on the ground there, and we thank you for your continued reporting from there. We also have Fox Team Coverage from around the globe over the next two hours on this Breaking News as it happened. The war in the middle east. John start with trey yingst, live on the ground in Southern Israel and trey, the sirens continue to go off. The latest in the cross hairs, the entire tel aviv area. Whats the latest from where you are. Yeah, john, given the number of airstrikes against the israel strike, its remarkable 12 days into the war hamas has the ability to fire on Major Population Centers like tel aviv, israels second largest city where Hundreds Of Thousands headed to bomb shelters 30 minutes ago as sirens sounded and the city was targeted with rocket fire. We have seen a number of israeli strikes along the gaza strip, earlier today, similar scenes unfolding as President Biden spoke alongside israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We did get some new access today into an area where one of the massacres took place along the border with gaza. I do want to show you what thats like as the israelis continue their operations and find more atrocities in Southern Israel. A ghost town, pieces of life are scattered amid the charred remains of death. The few civilians still here only returned to gather belongings and look for their pets. I can do whatever i can to help and keep me sane. What should the world know about what happened here . I cant speak about it. I havent i havent realized the situation til now. Sorry. In the distance, black smoke spewing from the horizon before the next explosion. Militants broke into this fence, slaughtering so many civilians and a taking hostages to the gaza strip. The community was known as a paradise in the south. Special Needs Children would come here to play, there was a dairy farm nearby. When hamas militants entered last saturday, they killed as many people as possible, doing what they could to create hell on earth. You can see here many of the homes were burnt down by palestinian militants. Fam families when the militants could not breach the shelters, they burned down the homes. Just over the border in gaza we continue to talk with civilians and officials trying to gather more information following that Hospital Explosion at the hospital in gaza city last night that left many Palestinian Civilians dead. We are getting more information from the israelis today indicating they have intercepted communication from hamas, saying that they were responsible in part from Islamic Jihad for the rocket fire that appears to have fallen short inside gaza causing this tragedy, but we have seen the images from across the middle east overnight in beirut, istanbul, amman, people blaming israel despite the evidence and adding more fuel to this growing fire. John, sandra. John were you surprised how quickly people believed what hamas was saying about that strike . Absolutely. Its important with all of these developing stories to be patient. We can report information as we get it, but the information has to be updated in a timely fashion. And so we were told by hamas moments after the explosion that it was an israeli strike. We reported that and immediately reached out to the Israeli Military for comment. They got back to us right away, said they were investigating. We reported that. Then we continued to press the israelis for more evidence. Provided images. Reached out to officials in gaza and civilians on the ground who went to the site, the aftermath and sent videos and pictures. Reporting throughout the day trying to get a clear picture what took place without placing blame but focusing on the facts at hand. And the evidence that we have points to this being a failed Rocket Launch from Islamic Jihad inside gaza, but that has not stopped top officials and leaders across the region from pointing the finger at israel, and even tonight in the west bank, people are in the streets blaming israel for the tragedy. John. John just saw another explosion behind you. Trey yingst in Southern Israel. Keep up the great work, appreciate it. Sandra meanwhile, continuing coverage on the massive protest from lebanon to the west bank over the deadly Hospital Blast as hezbollah calls for a day of unprecedented rage. Alex hogan joins us from london. Alex. Hi, sandra. Protests breaking out across the world and in much of the middle east and some of them turning violent. Take a look at this footage from earlier on in the day in lebanon, not far outside of the u. S. Embassy there in beirut. Security forces used tear gas and water canons to push back and break up some crowds for the second day in a row now. Riots erupted after the devastating blast at the Gaza Hospital where roughly 500 people have died. And while israeli Officials Say it was a mistired Islamic Jihad fired rocket, a lot of demonstrators point blame at israel and thats the rage causing them to go out into the streets, creating scenes just like this one. Thousands of people fill the streets today in yemen, supporting palestinians in gaza. These scenes were really mirrored in countries across the region, demonstrators also taking to the streets in jordan and take a look at this. This is tunis, major protests sweeping through this african country. Demonstrators there demanding peace for the civilians who have been caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, in israel today, some demonstrations are underway for a different reason. They are families of the israelis kidnapped by hamas militants, begging for answers for any word on the conditions of their missing loved ones. With all of this underway, the State Department has issued a new level 4 do not travel advisory for americans to lebanon, that also includes the border with israel and syria. All of that being said, the state Department Also saying that any u. S. Nonessential workers and their fm list in lebanon who wish to leave the country may do so. Sandra. Sandra Alex Hogan Reporting live from london. Thank you. John. John sandra, bring in former israeli ambassador to the united nations. Mr. Ambassador, good to have you with us tonight, really appreciate it. So i want to start with the explosion at this hospital. Israeli Defense Force insists it was a Palestinian Islamic jihad missile. President biden, when he was in tel aviv, agreed with you and the nsc spokeswoman seemed to talk about that, our Current Assessment based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open Source Information is that israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in gaza yesterday. Mr. Ambassador, the arab world is not buying it. Is there anything more you can do to convince them . Is it even worth it at this point to try . Well, john, its not only that, even the u. N. Itself until now i havent seen that the Secretary General changed his tweet about what happened. And still sticks with the false allegations against israel. And Rashida Tlaib blamed us, i have not seen apology from her twitter account. So basically we have no expectation from them. It took us some time to check the facts and not easy for us, we knew hamas will incite against israel and they did, but we took the time to look at all the evidence we had, the footage and we came to a clear conclusion it was a Rocket Launched by Islamic Jihad into israel, a huge one. Actually they targeted the city of hifa and it fell on the hospital because of malfunction of the rocket. Onethird of the rockets are killing people in gaza. So i think we should have no expectations, you know, they decide to go against israel, but we should continue all the way with our determination to eliminate hamas, im sure well have more cases like that in the future, but you know, we expect our allies to stand with us, even when those allegations will continue to come. John as a result of what happened at the hospital last night, iran has taken it as a reason to rattle the saber more even to an even greater degree against israel, saying israels time is up, and promising another shockwave against israel is israel continues operations in gaza. Do you fear, there ambassador, if you go in on the ground in gaza, iran will give the go ahead to hezbollah to open a Northern Front . I dont speak, john, the border with lebanon and hezbollah is not quiet. We have many serious incidents, including rockets that flew into israel and we Pay Attention to the border. I would advise hezbollah not to make that mistake. We will not play with them. Lebanon will not do the same if they join the aggression against israel, that is not our intention. Our intention is to fight hamas because the horrible atrocities against us and they will pay a price. We will smash hamas, we are going to eradicate hamas. If hezbollah will join hamas against israel, lebanon will not look the same. John mr. Ambassador, this region is being described as a tinder box that could go up in flames at any moment. But it has been described that way before and while in 1967 and 1973 and a couple of other cases we did see it go up in flames for a while. It continues. Do you expect there could be a broader regional conflict here or will this follow similar cycles as we have seen in the past . For many years, john, even in my speeches at the u. N. I spoke about iran, that they send weapons and funds to their p prock proxies in the region. Dont know when they will use it but saw what happened in gaza, same with hezbollah. They acquire so many rockets and missiles, only a matter of time when we have to face that threat and i think for the longterm u. S. , israel and the democracies of the world have to stand against iran. Because they are in the business of spreading chaos, violence, we have experienced it ten days ago, we are eventually to face that threat. John mr. Ambassador, one more quick question. President biden instead of flying home was supposed to go doing to jordan for a summit with king abdullah, president elsissi and abbas. That did not happen because of three days of mourning, according to john kirby, they canceled the meeting. What was the meeting going to be about . Some were looking at that as the leaders getting together to sketch out a way forward for gaza after hamas is eventually gone. What do you know . Well, i think we have to start to think about the day after what will happen in gaza after we eradicate hamas. We know the people in gaza, they suffer under the hamas regime, and now is the time to start to think out of the box about the future of the people in gaza after hamas. I think the right approach. I know it will not be easy. We heard president elsissi speak about that and the king of jordan but the long run, people in the region start to understand the future in the region will be without hamas in gaza. John i wanted to ask you also about the nominee for u. S. Ambassador to israel, jack lu. Some republican senators are saying they may not go forward, they may oppose his nomination because of past contesroversial connections regarding iran. What do you say about the nomination, would you like to see him as the u. S. Ambassador to israel . So we will not get into your politics, but i would say that we need an ambassador here on the ground. We are in a war, we collaborate with our strongest ally, and i think the sooner the u. S. Will pick a new ambassador that will be to the service of the americans hostages, to the American Families here in israel, and to the alliance between israel and the u. S. John all right. Ambassador danny danon, thank you for your time. Sandra thank you to ambassador danon for joining us. Live to washington and chad pergram, our Congressional Correspondent is standing by, end of roll call, 22 House Republicans voted against jim jordan, four new no votes, only one flipped, one returned. So, unlikely jim jordan will win the speakership on this second vote. What can you tell us, chad . Well, Patrick Mchenry just slammed the gavel, this vote is closed. 433 ballots cast total, jordan secured 199, hakeem jeffries, 212. So, its significant here that jim jordan lost a lot of votes here. He came under came in under the psychologically important threshold of 200 votes in the house of representatives. There were several members who voted for jim jordan yesterday who voted for other people today. You had meeks from iowa, stauber, buchanan, they supported jim jordan the other day and they went in the other direction. You heard the buzzers behind me, the house is now in Recess Subject to the call of the chair. We dont know what is going to happen next. But what has been emerging as a narrative here on capitol hill, they might try in fact to adopt a resolution here to empower Patrick Mchenry as the speaker protem. Again, he has those powers right now. The question here on capitol hill is whether or not he can execute any more than presiding over speakers votes and gavelling the house in and out every day. That might be what they try to do next as they try to unscramble the egg on capitol hill. Sandra. Sandra whats next then, chad . John dont know if jim jordan will run again, whether or not they would put a resolution on the floor to potentially empower Patrick Mchenry, the speaker protem, and actually give him the legislative juice to begin to call up resolutions dealing with the middle east, past bills to deal with the government shutdown. That would be unprecedented, historic, sandra. Sandra so chad, you are going to keep track of it for us and we will get back to you as the news warrants. Let us know. Chad, thank you. Israel you cant hide. You are committing genocide. Sandra Pro Palestinian Genocide spreading to dozens of college campuses, while Graphic Evidence shows the war crimes and atrocities carried out by hamas. We will speak with steve hilton, where so many are still supporting such a radical world view. John plus hamas network of tunnels posing a major challenge for israels Defense Forces, they fear hundreds of hostages are held captive below grounds. So, what would a Rescue Mission look like . Now theyre focused on learning knowing that their data is secure. sandra as israel preps for what will likely be a brutal battle with hamas when it begins the Ground Invasion into gaza, along with urban warfare, forces have could contend with the labyrinth of possible boobytrapped tunnels running miles underground. Cameron joins us, take us through the sophisticated system of tunnels that runs under gaza, a former u. S. Navy seal who helped train idf special forces. We have seen the images and well have you take us through this. Obviously this is the Tunnel System in the northern part of the gaza strip, but the Tunnel System also runs into the southern part of the gaza trip. We put picture so people can get a better idea what it looks like underground, gaza city 2016, really shows the concrete build of these tunnels, built to fit two people sidebyside. Can you give us an idea, the palestinian workers, it took them years to do so. Gazas metro, referenced. The average tunnel is six and a half feet high and more than a foot wide. How will hamas use the tunnels to their advantage, cameron . Absolutely, thank you for having me, sandra. So, what we are seeing in the photograph here is a very close knit, kind of close proximity location, which is very difficult to transit personnel and equipment through but are exceedingly, you know, experienced in doing that. And so one of the most difficult aspects of the Tunnel Networks is also the excavation and equipment that you need to bring soil out so. Likely they bury the tunnels extremely deep in the earth because Detection Equipment and xray materials, you name it, even thermal imagery, makes it more difficult to identify how many personnel, where they are located, points of egress and all that. And it also makes the deeper you place these tunnels, it makes it more difficult to detect the electrical circuitry that powers different locations to deliver oxygen, to deliver lighting and things along those lines. So, it is exceedingly difficult. The entry points, of course, are almost always going to be the most difficult to navigate through. Very, very finetuned channels and avenues to climb up and down the Israeli Soldiers carrying quite a bit of equipment and Detection Equipment. That will be a constraint israel will have to deal with. But once they gain a foot hold, the advanced technology, canines, cameras. And further perspective on size and scope when it comes to the tunnels, we put this picture here, obviously you can see one of the fighters here, this is the depth. This is the ground level of gaza. We are told, cameron, you can tell us if you know otherwise, this is about 165 feet below the surface. And those the tunnel itself about six feet tall. Really sort of gives you an idea of how deep underground these are, and talking more about this being a Military Asset place to hide hamas using these to go between houses undetected. You were talking about the storage rooms, electrical generator, command centers, transport weapons, we know the lights and electricity have been turned off there in gaza. But they do have generators that they are able to continue to power the electricity, power the lights in these tunnels, right, cameron . Absolutely. So some of the imagery the viewers are seeing right here, one unique example of Tunnel Systems very deep and sophisticated. A variety of different methods of delivering power and delivering the power to a location like this. The most critical is air, having appropriate circulation of air so that people dont obviously suffocate, and then also reducing moisture because that can corrode and wear down equipment. But that example that you just showed is one thats prime, that makes it very, very difficult to detect. The only way to really find these locations is have people physically on the ground. Walking in formation lines, searching buildings, finding avenues of approach. Sandra a huge, huge task. This is an actual photograph, it was taken april 11, 2010, a palestinian smuggler working inside the tunnel in rafa, the Southern Gaza strip. Gives you idea of the telephone, electrical wires, Electrical Generators running throughout these really sophisticated tunnels that are going to really come into play here once and if this Ground Invasion does indeed happen. A quick final thought on that from you, cameron. You are right on that topic. These are more narrow tunnels but do have wider tunnels able to move smallbased machinery, that is still difficult, if you have more space, more room to move around, but the soldiers, what they are going to face in this kind of environment, they are going to be funneled into what we call a fatal funnel. So thats where they are going to rely on canines on other sensory tools to see who is in the vicinity. And there is a variety of different entrance and exit points. That is to an advantage of the israelis, and also to hamas. But if the idf find and access Tunnel Systems, they can battle on sides. Sandra unique analysis. Thank you so much. Hope to see you soon. John fascinating look there, sandra. Hezbollah calling for a day of unprecedented anger after a Hospital Blast, leaves reportedly, according to hamas, hundreds dead. It comes as fighting intensifies along israels border with lebanon sparking concerns a second battle front will open up north. And hezbollah is larger and more equipped than hamas terrorists. Adam, good to have you with us. Let me get, first of all, your take on everything going on here. I think what you are seeing is the next phase of the war and there are two elements happening right now, and the biggest element is the media war. So you see the immediate rush to blame israel after what happened on the hospital side when it was actually Palestinian Islamic jihad. I think thats going to be a major phase that comes up, and then the other thing i think you saw is the administrations attempt, which is i think wellintentioned to bring some countries together to think about opposed to hamas world. John looking at the pictures from gaza city, the first time i have seen ground level shots of the parking lot. If that was an israeli bomb, shouldnt there, adam, be a bomb crater . 100 . Intelligence is pretty clear they shot a rocket, shooting from a cemetery behind the hospital and then a backfire, which happens a lot. Just in this case, it was unlucky, backfired and hit a hospital. John so lets talk about another alert on my phone. Want to make sure tel aviv again, its not us. I wanted to ask you about the potential for a second front opening in the north of the country. Israel has said in response to the explosion at the hospital that israels time is up, iran has also said that israel will experience another shockwave if it continues its pursuit of hamas in gaza. In 2006, did not have anything that would hit tel aviv. Now take a look at the radius of all the different missiles it has. Cannot get as far south as down there on the gulf, but it can hit every major israeli city. If a second front were to open in the north, adam, hezbollah were to go to the arsenal of some 100,000 rockets, what would that mean for this country . I mean, i think it would be really significant. This is the result of years of appeasement on the iran side. And this is why that doesnt work. People can smuggle in missiles and build up in this time and its highly likely the north gets involved here. What does it mean for israel . It means this is going to become a bigger deal, and the United States has to stand behind and support. Israel can handle things from a Military Perspective but i will tell you, as this expands in the court of Public Opinion and how this drive is going to be a big deal going forward. John so we have a president who is still talking fairly ambiguous terms and not strategic ambiguity, either, but ambiguous terms about iran. Listen. The world will know israel is stronger than ever and my message to any state or any other hostile Actor Thinking about attacking israel remains the same as a week ago. Dont, dont, dont. John that is one fewer donts than he issued on sunday night on his 60 minutes interview, but other president s in the past when they have sent warnings to country to not get involved have been using far stronger language than that. I think theres language and then theres action. I think its its got to be very clear whats going to happen if hezbollah gets involved, iran gets involved and has to be backed up by the u. S. Military and so those warships we sent in, are they willing to act if that happens. Are they willing to fire on hezbollah positions if hezbollah positions start to attack israel. Thats real backup from an action perspective, and thats where we need to lean in. John america fired on hezbollah in 1983, after the bombing killed service members, and americans died in this, it may by the impetus to do it. Sandra fox news alert to trey yingst, we have been reporting that its not exactly known but about a dozen americans are held hostage in the northern part of gaza. You are learning more details. What do we know . Yeah, sandra, still trying to verify the exact number of americans held hostage inside the gaza strip, but we do have continuing coverage and conversations that are taking place with American Citizens who were not taken hostage but were inside gaza for other reasons whenever this war started with that massacre 12 days ago. I spoke with one American Citizen today, from utah, and you could hear that she is trying to get out. Yesterday we also talked, and she said she had gone to the border three times, today was the fourth time, trying to cross at the Rafa Crossing with egypt. Play a little audio from our conversation. Youll hear it on the phone, ill hold it up to the microphone. Take a listen. How are you feeling right now as an American Citizen . You know, im American Citizen, they are not helping us to leave gaza. We are trapped. She said the embassy is not helping us to leave gaza. We reached out to the u. S. Embassy in israel to try to get more information on the exact number of u. S. Passport holders that are currently inside the gaza strip. They would not give us that information but we have talked with two separate sources that indicate there are hundreds of american Passport Holders and other foreign nationals that each day are going to the Rafa Crossing and according to this woman, she went again today at 9 00 p 9 00 p. M. 9 00 a. M. And waited to 4 00 p. M. , rocket fire continues on southern and Central Israel and before we came on air, sirens in tel aviv, we saw the rocket off the strip headed to the central part of the country. Sandra when you were speaking to that woman, what sense were you getting they have been able to communicate with Government Officials to get help, did you get any sense of communications . Yes, she said the State Department has been providing specific information about how to go to the border at what time to go to the border, but they have not been successful in actually crossing. This woman also told us that one time she went to the border on the second or third attempt and an israeli airstrike at the Rafa Crossing while there were foreigners waiting to cross. We posed this to the Israeli Military asking specifically what happened and why they would hit the crossing when there are American Citizens there. And they have not yet gotten back to us with specific details. But that woman describing a sense of panic as she says she was waiting in a holding area at the border and lost track of her young son, and was looking around for him and they ultimately found each other and had to go back to a location where they are waiting to hopefully at some point go into the crossing with egypt and then finally cross out of the gaza strip. Sandra we hear commotion around you, please be safe. Thank you for that update. Well check back in with you soon. Thank you, trey. John, that is really something. The possibility that there could be hundreds of americans trapped in gaza. John we do know there are a lot of American Palestinians in gaza trying to get out and the fact this they have not been able to escape through the Rafa Crossing in Southern Gaza into egypt means their plight is dire and their future uncertain, which is why President Biden made such a point today saying he wants to get 100 million worth of aid into that area and do it in such a way that hamas cannot get their hands on it. Sandra we will check back with trey as he obviously continues to bring us Breaking News throughout the hour. John, thank you. Now this. Prioritize the hostages. Prioritize the lives of all the innocent children and the innocent people. Theres only one thing and only one thing to do right now. Bring them home. We still have hope they will return. The clock is ticking. We need the International Support to bring them home, to bring them home now. Sandra families here in New York City earlier demanding the safe release of their loved ones held by hamas. Our next guest has been working with congress to bring americans home and stresses the need for a House Speaker to spearhead crucial aid to israel. Reagan president ial library director, thank you for being here with us. Obviously we are taking in the news from trey. Your reaction to that. Well, its tragic and what happens in war and we have American Citizens who are in gaza, live in gaza, and of course the Biden Administration is trying to get them out. In terms of the footage you just shared, its the american hostages, those who have been taken out of israel by hamas brought in and now hostages. 30 americans dead, we think about 12 to 13 hostages taken by hamas, and that is where we need to focus. Where the urgency should be. As you know, 50 senators signed a letter led by ernst and booker, in the region when the war broke out, focusing on the urgency of getting our citizens out and making sure its a priority for the administration. Sandra as things go these days before that Breaking News, Breaking News from capitol hill, and another go around there on the house floor and did not see jim jordan garner enough votes. So we are left one certainty as to what happens next, but what sort of urgency is there for this House Speakership race to get something done knowing that this war is ongoing . This is not just a washington problem, this is an International Problem now. President biden is in the region, just left israel, he Needs Congress to work with, and without a speaker of the house, they cant get the aid packages through, cant get appropriations through. The United States cant lead in the world. Cant be the Arsenal Of Democracy unless we get a congress led with a speaker. And jim jordan failed in a second attempt. Republicans need to figure this out. There are real work to be done. Sandra talking about hostages in his remarks from there. Working with partners throughout the region pursuing every avenue to bring home those who are being held captive by hamas. I cant speak publicly about all the details but let me assure you, for me as the american president , there is no higher priority than the release and safe return of all these hostages. Sandra did we as a country with the president s visit, the speech there, accomplish what we needed to show israel we have their back . I think we showed israel we have their back. The president did not mention iran, that needs to be the focus. But on the hostages, the National Security council of last week said an american led Hostage Rescue is not on the table. I dont understand that. Every option should be on the table. Every asset the intelligence community, Defense Department has should be focused on bringing American Citizens home. Whether you can accomplish the operation is difficult as you pointed out, but needs to be a priority and focus, his National Security council has not said that. Sandra a lot of Breaking News to take in today. Good to see you. John. John a long divided country now pulling together in a show of solidarity. Through a group of soldiers once labelled traitors by some in the Israeli Government are now doing their part to protect civilians in danger zones. Sandra plus as israel inches closer to launching a Ground Invasion, questions are growing over whether they have a plan for the area if hamas is toppled. John spoke with the cocreator of the Hit Israeli Netflix show on where he sees this conflict going from here. The conception that you have probably heard so much about in the last few days was if hamas was the less worse option in gaza. Today we understand that was the worst of the worst. John as israel makes final preparations for an expected Ground Invasion of gaza, questions remain over whether they can truly defeat hamas and then who would govern gaza if that were to happen. I had the chance to speak with an israeli journalist who has spent decades with the Inner Workings of hamas and used it for the Netflix Series fauda. Cocreator and writing for the israeli tv thriller fauda, as well a journalist. He knows more about gaza, hezbollah, hamas than most people in the country do. So, where do you think this is headed . We dont know, honestly. I think we are at the eve of maybe a Ground Operation, but the delay in the beginning of the Ground Operation makes us wonder at this point is israel going to start the Ground Operation everyone is getting ready to. We know the idt wants to go to the Ground Operation but there are some signs of the government and especially Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a little bit hesitant about using the Ground Forces. John if the idf does not go on the ground and Decapitate Hamas two bad options. Either he stays out of gaza, not using the Ground Forces and that would be political end, or hes going to use the Ground Forces and taking a huge risk that more soldiers will get killed, and that probably also is going to bring his political end because of the beginning, because of the result of the beginning of the war, meaning you can in the stay as a Prime Minister after 1400 people were killed in israel. John so President Bidens five points in meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, two of them are he wants to know what israels aims and strategy for the Ground Operation are, and then he wants to make sure that rank and file palestinians are safe and have aid. How do you read that . Im not sure he came all the way here to the middle east in order to understand better about the Army Planning or plans in gaza for the simple fact everyone already understands whats the Major General lines of this plan, evacuate as many citizens as possible from the northern part of gaza strip, taking parts or occupying even some parts of the northern part of the gaza strip, then taking care of hamass Military Infrastructure also in the south, so whats going to come next. Face a vacuum and then maybe more kind of Islamic Jihad or isis or alqaeda style militias, or maybe the israelis will occupy for eternity like it used to be before 1987, or 1993, i dont think these are the cases israel is willing to consider. Third option, the less worse, is trying to bring back the Palestinian Authority and maybe reaching some kind of a deal with president abbas, 88 years old. Didnt work before, why would it work now . Maybe the right combination of support from jordan, from egypt and even from the u. S. And israel, maybe its going to change the face of the Palestinian Authority. John assume the bottom line here is there is no easy path ahead. No easy solutions here. The conception you probably heard so much about in the last few days was if hamas was the less worse option in gaza, today we understand that was the worst of the worst, and this is why this is the time to bring down hamas regime. John i understand there was an episode of fauda similar to what happened in the massacre a week ago saturday. In gaza, in this last few months we were trying to develop the plot for the fifth season, and one of the scenarios we were discussing in between us was the option of an army or militants coming over the border, crossing the border and taking over an israeli village, kibbutz or small town. After 10, 15 minutes we thought it was completely unrealistic and we let it go. John and what did you think when it happened . In reality what did happen, i think that it was for israel like winning the lottery twice in a row but the opposite, meaning everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. John realism or the reality was actually more horrific than fiction. And the horrific Terrorist Attacks have brought together israelis as they Work Together to defeat hamas despite the cost. Watch this. As always in israels history so many stories of heroism, of people who have risen to the challenge of defending their country and lost their lives. You have a story like that. Yes, i lost many friends, my kids lost many friends, i have some friends, their kids are kidnapped today. But i want to speak about one boy in particular. He was the best friend of my son and he was the smallest child at class. Him at the age of 14. John smallest in class. He was determined. He was so strong, although he was the smallest. He went to the israel of the navy seals, thats how he looks when he was there. He ran first into one of the villages, he killed 13 terrorists and he got bullet in his head. I was with his mother yesterday. Shes broke. He was the pride of the family. They were so proud of him. John do you ever say to yourself when will it end . For jewish people, we dont ask this question. We have to continue, we have to stand up, we have to fight back and we have to win because we dont have any other choice in life. John and coming up in the next hour, we will bring you my report from the historic Old City Of Jerusalem on how residents there are coping with the war. Sandra. Sandra a growing number of migrants from hostile nations considered National Security threats penetrating the u. S. Border through mexico. Border agents in eagle pass, texas catching 11 more this week alone. National correspondent Griff Jenkins has more on the socalled Special Interest Aliens. What happens to the Special Interest Aliens once they are apprehended by Border Patrol . Hey, sandra, good afternoon. They are turned over to ice, not released as quickly as other migrants, but by the way, it was 11 until just moments ago, confirmed with a source here in eagle pass, another special interest alien walked up at 9 30 this morning, about 200 yards from where i am from syria. Now, take a look at our drone, or sky camera in the drone. Migrants keep coming up. Since this fiscal year began in the first 17 days, sandra, 108,000 migrants have been encountered, of which 83,000 roughly have been released. Thats 77 of the migrants that we have encountered this fiscal year in the first 17 days have been released. Now, the Special Interest Aliens are held longer by ice because they get additional vetting. Yesterday we had the head of dps along with a handful of a half a dozen Texas State Representatives came right here to see the situation firsthand and they were very concerned about what they saw, take a listen. Thats scary for us here in the community because we dont know what these peoples intentions are
