No new COVID-related deaths recorded during 24-hour period.

REGIONAL — Minnesota recorded no new COVID-related deaths during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Sunday. Meanwhile, there were another 1,197 new cases of the virus reported, according to this morning’s update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Among the new cases were two in Murray County, and one each in Pipestone and Rock counties.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 569,440 (positive and antigen tests), with 547,021 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 41,043 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
Minnesota’s death toll from the virus stands at 7,079, including 4,353 residents of long-term care facilities.
