Forecast breakfast goes virtual

 The annual Forecast Breakfast, hosted by the Fenton & Linden Regional Chamber of Commerce, was held remotely this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Laundry, Lewis & Knopf CPAs, PC and Consumers Energy sponsored the online event.
 Keynote speaker was Jim Holcomb, senior executive vice president and general counsel of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. In a pre-recorded video, Holcomb said although times are difficult now, he looks forward to when everyone can meet again in person.
 The Michigan Chamber has 5,000 members and there are members in all counties of the state. “We are the leading voice of business advocacy,” he said. He added that the vaccine is crucial for moving forward.
