Fleeing Taliban, Afghan refugees settle into life in US, first at Linthicum hotel, then at Cockeysville home

When the Taliban took control of Kabul, Afghanistan in August 2021, Aziz Sediqi, his wife and their two young kids were among tens of thousands of Afghan refugees who fled to the United States. With the help of many agencies, they settled in Maryland — first in Linthicum, then Cockeysville.
