First ships of 2023 enter the St. Lawrence Seaway

The St. Lawrence Seaway officially opened for its 65th navigation season Wednesday. The system of locks and channels in both the U.S. and Canada allows big ships to transport goods and commodities between Great Lakes ports and the Atlantic Ocean.
